The markings on the sidewalks were very interesting. I have crossed the intersection of Michigan Ave and Wacker Dr, never realizing that it was the location of Fort Dearborn. It was helpful to have done some background reading before going to the site, since otherwise you would not know a lot of information. It is difficult to imagine what the site looked like 200 years ago.

There's really nothing to see here, but it's nice that they put up a historical marker plaque and marked the boundaries of the old fort. This fort was essentially the first major building in Chicago. It was destroyed a very long time ago, and now everything around this area is skyscrapers...
