I want to start by saying that the staff at this location were incredibly kind and welcoming, and my rating is in no way a reflection of their service. Additionally, as this is a cookie shop designed primarily for pick-up orders, I did not assess the atmosphere as I typically would in a review.
This was my first visit to Crumbl after hearing mixed reviews from several friends. Wanting to give it a fair chance, I purchased six large dessert cookies on November 13th to sample a variety of their offerings. Here are my thoughts on each:
Pumpkin Roll (3/5): As someone who isn’t typically a fan of pumpkin flavors, I was surprised to find this cookie fairly enjoyable. It had a nice fluffy texture and a balanced flavor that effectively mimicked a classic pumpkin roll. Chocolate Cupcake (2/5): This cookie fell short for me. It tasted more like a standard sugar cookie with chocolate icing and sprinkles. While the icing did give it a cupcake-like quality, it didn’t elevate the cookie enough to make it memorable. Lemon Crinkle (1/5): Unfortunately, this cookie didn’t deliver on its promise. It lacked any noticeable lemon flavor, making it a disappointing choice. Maple Glaze (1/5): The maple flavor was overwhelmingly concentrated in the icing, creating an unbalanced taste. The cookie itself didn’t complement the icing, resulting in an overall unpleasant experience. Snickerdoodle (1/5): A major letdown for a classic flavor. It lacked the essential cinnamon profile that makes a Snickerdoodle what it’s meant to be. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk (4/5): This cookie was the standout of the group. While not extraordinary, it delivered exactly what you’d expect from a classic chocolate chunk cookie. It was solidly executed and aligned with its description.
Overall, I’d rate my experience a 2/5. While I personally wouldn’t return for the cookies, I encourage others to try them for themselves, as preferences vary widely, and Crumbl’s concept may appeal to many. My review reflects my specific experience, but others may find flavors they...
Read moreI didn’t realize it’s so hard in today’s world to get a refund. I ordered 4 cookies through the app and never received them, which was disappointing but okay, because I figured I’d receive a refund. Little did I know I’d need to waste 1+ hour trying to get a refund and still NOT receiving a refund.
First I called the store the night they didn’t deliver it, they never picked up, so I left a voicemail. They never called back. Then I called the next day. No pick up. Then I called again the following day and the associate said that I need to contact door dash for refunds (which I thought was very strange). So I call door dash. Door dash says crumbl needs to give me a refund so they give me a crumbl cookie corporate email. I email them and they say I need to contact the store. I contact the store and speak to the manager and she says sorry but literally shows no effort to even help me. She said she’d call me back and never did. At this point I’m giving up but I lost $30 to cookies I literally never received.
How does a company like crumbl cookies not have an efficient refund process? I’ve never experienced anything like this. Never getting delivery again and definitely do not recommend this store. It sucks to have such a great tasting service perform...
Read moreOk this was my first time trying the cookies, i ordered ahead to have a quick pick up. But when i got inside the store all employees were in the back working on orders I guess there wasn’t a lot of customers when i got there. There was a family ordering in the kiosk. I proceeded to the pick up area stood there for some minutes the employees saw me but neither took the time to ask me nothing. I tried smiling to one of the employees trying to be nice but got ignored. Still waiting for my order, but for some reason the order of the other family was first and they had two boxes and I had ordered only 1. I decided to ask an employee that was near the register for my pick up and he told the other worker and he told me they were working on it. Ok still had to wait some minutes. When I get home I was excited to try the cookies but when I touch them they were really hard. I honestly don’t know if that’s how they’re supposed to be but from reviews I seen the cookies looked soft but mine weren’t. So overall I’m disappointed in my first time trying these cookies that are...
