I came here excited because I've heard great news about Egg Tuck at other locations. But after the experience I had stay away from this one. I ordered ahead of time knowing that there would probably be a wait but when I got inside I told the guy my name anyway and he told me it would be just a few minutes. So I took my time taking pictures and videos for my socials. Once done I was still waiting for my order, as each bag came out they called the name out but never mine. After 40 minutes I finally went back up to ask if my order was done. Turns out it had been sitting there the whole time. I said very nicely that I would like it remade because I had been waiting for 40 minutes. The women told me that they could do it but it wouldn't get priority so I would need to wait 25 minutes. I said that was fine. A minute later (literally) the women came out and said it was remade. It was the same bag, when they took it back I noticed a little mark on the box and the same mark was there. At that point I just asked for my money back. The women said they don't do refunds so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager came out, Sam, and said she could do it but they were too busy and it would be done later. Instead of an apology. I said I can't believe I've been so excited to come and there isn't even an apology. She then said I'm sorry but for online orders you should be checking the bags. What a let down. I checked when I got inside of the establishment and listened to orders being called and the whole time the bag was sitting there. The last thing I needed to hear was that the customer...

I love the food here. I have tried many items on the menu! The eggs are soo fluffy soft and delicious! The bread is the same. The packaging is perfect! I tried the House Made Tteok-Galbi (Korean Short Rib), but didn't care for the texture. Maybe if it was chopped up, I would have enjoyed it more? I will see if they can customize it and try it again. I add avocado always! The low service rating is due the the long wait times and lack of announcing orders. Yes, the staff are very nice, however Management needs to re-train them on directing customers and announcing orders that are ready. On my last visit, the line was long, but I stood in it, but just ended up ordering on my phone. I got out of line and stood along THE WALL. I waited and waited. I saw people pick up their orders. I saw food delivery people come and go. I saw 2 people standing in front of the pickup area (That needs to change, they are blocking views and pickup space). I decided to walk over to see what was taking so long. I excused myself to the people standing in front of the pickup area and saw my name. It had probably been siting there 10 minutes. There was no announcement of my name. (Perhaps if I completed the in store kiosk, they would have called my name? But they should not have assumed that it was a delivery. It was a pickup order.) Management please fix these 2 things. Nevertheless, I will be back to enjoy this...

This was the best egg sandwhich of my life, and I don't say that lightly!

Food: The eggs were sooo fluffy and were seasoned to perfection! Not to mention, they don't skimp out on them! The bacon was also cooked good, could be a little crispier though. The bun was also toasted perfectly giving it that needed buttery crunch with every bite. It was a little messy to eat so grab extra napkins but this was honestly the best breakfast I've had, and I've been to my fair share of places. Also, the presentation of this, just amazing! It looked too good to eat!

Service: They could improve a little on this as it's only 1 person taking the orders and you have to order at a screen (which I do not like at all since I want to ask what their popular items are and discuss what is what). We went at around 10:30AM and they said it was about a 45min wait to receive our food (yes, it was that busy and yes, it took 40-45 min to receive our food, but it was sooo worth the wait. We placed our order then walked down the street to Blue Bottle Coffee, grabbed coffee then came back just in time so it worked out.

Atmosphere: It's a smaller restaurant so there isn't much seating at all but it seems like a more grab-and-go type of a place so that was okay. Overall: I would 100% come back again whenever I'm back in town! This...

🍳🍞🤤I am obsessed with the NEWEST breakfast spot in Chicago. Welcome to our city, @Eggcellent Breakfast & Brunch! These Korean-inspired breakfast sandwiches are so good! The first downtown location is located at 326 N. Michigan Avenue. Atmosphere: 4/5 - Cute space; however, poor choice in seating (bar stools) versus chairs/tables, although there are a few (3 tables with actual chairs). Service: 5/5 - No issues. It's mostly self-service; however, there are employees readily available to assist, if need be. Food: 4/5 - Overall, really good but some things weren't. Summary: I went with a friend and between the two of us, we ordered 3 sandwiches, 1 Egg Tot, 2 lemonades. Of the 3 sandwiches we ordered, we had: Ham & Cheese, Bacon & Cheese and the Royal West. The Ham & Cheese and Bacon & Cheese were great. The Royal West was their take on a burger, but in the form of a sandwich. It was a good attempt but we both thought it was overly sweet. We wouldn't order it again, but you're welcome to try it for yourself and come to your own conclusion. Their "famous" Egg Tots weren't anything to write home about. They were alright. It was just literally tater tots topped off with some fluffy scrambled eggs and sauce. Honesty, it defeats the whole purpose of having crispy tater tots and wasn't my thing. I liked the flavor profile, but not texturally speaking. As a whole though, I'd honestly go back.
