During a recent trip to Chicago, we stopped in and found the perfect souvenir hoodie, but didn’t end up purchasing it that day. Once we were back in Ohio, I realized how much we all wished we had picked it up.

I was in the store(on Michigan Ave across from hockey store) 7/29 at 2:36 pm. There is a bin of poppers FOR SALE. A small child popped one popper, one time and the lady at the register 1. Yelled loudly "don't pop the poppers" 2. Looked at her coworker with a face that could literally only convey disdain and that someone would have to be an idiot to pop a popper that is not only for sale, but down at a child's level. She had yelled so loud that literally everyone in the store turned and saw her looking at them like that. The parent of that child immediately got his entire family and left. My child and I were considering buying a $100 Bulls sweatshirt and immediately put it down and walked to another store to spend our money. We travel to Chicago every year to see the city and go to Marshall Fields/Macy's. On our trip we buy all of our Bears/Cubs gear for the holidays. This year, Marshall Fields/Macy's reorganized and significantly shrank the size of their Pro Sports section, so we were pressed to find a place to go. Chicago Sports & Novelty will now be forever our spot to buy Bears and Cubs gear. The staff was friendly and helpful at making recommendations, and we could not have been happier.
