I would love to sell my foods here , I make foods from all ethnic backrounds. Please check out my page on instagram I promise to not disappoint @unitedflavorsoftheworld these are two of many pictures of my work you can find on the page . I would love to be given the opportunity to bring diversity to the farmers market . As well as being given the opportunity to share my food with the locals on a bigger scale.

This is one of the best Farmers Markets I have been to. Many of the vendors are Hudson Valley farmers. The farm to table movement is alive and well at the Beacon Farmers Market. Many stands have hot and cold dishes for lunch, breakfast or dinner. All you need in a family friendly atmosphere, including, live musical performances.

This feels more like a street fair than a traditional farmers market. While there are some booths with farm produce, the overall vibe is more of a street market, featuring everything from jewelry vendors to soap makers. I picked up some honey from a local vendor. Just be aware that it’s not a comprehensive farmers market.

After an amazing weekend in Beacon, we decided to go to the farmers market: which had beautiful flowers and produce. Sadly, I made the mistake of touching an egg which was disoriented in a carton at the Wild Roots Farm stand. After, and despite having the intention of buying said eggs, I was lectured by the owner that picking up the egg was ā€œthe weirdest thing she’s ever seenā€ and she continued to question me about my decision (she called it my ā€œcompulsionā€) to touch the egg. I assured her I was sorry (multiple times) and thought I was helping but she then proceeded to ask me if I ā€œhad OCDā€ or something wrong with me? I tried to explain I thought I was helping and assured her I would never touch an egg again… After being lectured for five minutes about being the weirdest person ever, I simply walked away as she was getting aggressive and frankly, I was no longer comfortable being there. After I left, she made sure to loudly talk about me to the other customers who came in her booth, remaking on how weird/rude I was and that there must have been something wrong with me… It was odd (to say the least) and I ended up leaving. On a happier note- I got some...

Although I AM still quite new to Beacon, New York (in Dutchess County, part of the Hudson Valley area of the State of New York), I love farmers markets. A close friend, who lives in Beacon, her boyfriend, and I visited the Beacon Farmers Market one Sunday afternoon. The variety of merchandise was larger than I expected, and the quality of said merchandise was quite high, too. Some of the prices were a but high, but given the quality and the craftsmanship involved, the higher prices were more than justified. ALL the vendors were professional and polite, and several food vendors offered free samples, too. All in all, this has become one of my favorite farmers markets, and I look forward to returning, as soon as I can. P. S. I live in Northern New Jersey, and this farmers market I s...

This is a very nice farmers market especially for a Sunday. It is well run with interesting promotions. Great organic produce selection in season. Delicious hot food is available here as well. I have had my lunch at the Inner Flame stand on at least 20 occasions. I have never been disappointed. They are very creative and never bore me. Always adding something different. The current market location, next to the post office is ideal for me. Across the street is Beacon Natural where I can complete my complete my Sunday shopping...
