Never called me to tell me when my clothes were ready.
Edit: I have shopped at Clothes Mentor in other areas for years now. When I entered the Clarksville location a few months ago, I was a bit disappointed to see the types of clothing they had in their inventory. I recently dropped off a basket full of professional wear- all in style and bought within the last 6 months-1 year. I was told that they wouldn't be able to get to them until tomorrow and they'd text me within 24 hours. I was totally fine with that. 24 hours later I hadn't heard from them, so I called to check in. I was met with an unfriendly tone that they were super busy. When I mentioned that it had been 24 hours and that I was just calling to make sure I didn't miss something, the woman's tone changed. She said they'd be ready in 30 minutes and that she would text me. I left the house to do some shopping around the area. An hour an a half later, I still hadn't heard, so I just went in. There was only 3 customers and 2 employees in the store and it took a while for anyone to come to the front. It appeared that my clothes were not even gone through. When I asked why, the woman said their inventory was full and my clothes were too well-loved. A handful of them items I had still had tags on them. If they had told me upfront that their inventory was stocked, then I would have waited a few weeks and brought them back no problem. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe last few times Iāve gone to this location wasnāt the most welcoming. I usually donāt write reviews unless theyāre necessary. I love a good thrift shop but Iām honestly not sure that Iād come here again. I sold with this location a few months ago and the manager (usually always there) had an attitude and I understood because Iāve worked in retail, workers have bad days. I just donāt think it should be projected on to the customers OR other workers.
I have recently revisited the store to purchase some items. Since I am different in sizes now, I was unsure how things would look, I tried on the clothes. While trying on clothes my door opens wide enough for other customers to see me. The manager didnāt knock nor ask if the fitting room was busy. I was humiliated and left everything there. There was no apology offered while this occurred.
While shopping this same day, I also witnessed a newer employee being scolded for not knowing how to start/complete a buy with a customer. Although, I understand frustration with training, as a manager it is your responsibility to treat your employees well and remain calm when training them.
For future purposes, Iād hope that the manager learned from this incident and doesnāt humiliate anyone else. Please, ALWAYS knock on the fitting room doors. And if you do this again, at least offer an apology. For the newer employees sake, I hope she is treated with more...

That is, until Clothes Mentor started to offer online services and delivery. It has been a Godsend. And they have really stepped up their social media presence as well. I love when they go live and also model the items because we can really get a great sense of how it will look on us or the family member we are shopping for. My absolute favorite staff member is the adorable dark haired lady with the slight accent. I believe her name is Miss Patricia (if I spell or said your name wrong I am so sorry!). She has the most upbeat spirit and is so sweet. Only one time was my order ever messed up and there were a few items missing. I called and spoke to my fav lady and right away, she found the issue and solved it. Thatās excellent customer service folks. If yāall havenāt been to clothes mentor in awhile...maybe you remember them from a few years ago or maybe you too have immune system issues..they have really come a long way. They care about helping you to where you donāt have to sacrifice fashion, even in a Cruddy Pandemic.
Clothes Mentor I thank you. Keep getting in great inventory and hiring stellar staff like you do and soon everyone will know what i already know - That yall are THE store for ladies to look good at great deals that wonāt...
