I had been to a few places in Frontenac Mall that have been generally good (but not all exceptional) experiences. Last week I stopped by Simons (with no appointment and for the first time) to look at a specific watch brand and the experience was really outstanding. Even though it was late in the day, Jonathan welcomed me in immediately and spent a generous amount of time showing (and educating) me about the brand I was interested in but also various other watch brands as we talked. I was also invited to check out other exhibition pieces which isn’t something I’ve experienced at other jewelers right off the bat given I was a total stranger. The specific watch model was interested in is difficult to find so Jonathan put me on the list for the “next one” and promised to call me when they had one in. Honestly, I was skeptical that I would hear back as I’ve heard similar promises from other jewelers in the past (once at Frontenac Mall recently) where I never hear back from them. In fact, I was planning to stop back in a few weeks to check in. But to my pleasant surprise, within a week Jonathan called me back to tell me he had the exact model I was looking for. Through the entire sales process including helping me size and adjust the bracelet perfectly, Jonathan and the staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. Read moreIf it was an option, I would rate my experience 10000\5 stars. I came to Simons when I began planning my wedding, I knew that I wanted a timeless piece to keep forever. I came to Simon's based off the positive reputation they have in the community and they DELIVERED. Since the first that I came a year ago, I have closely worked with Jonathan and I couldn't have wished for a better experience. Jonathan was very professional, kind, and transparent. I told him exactly what I wanted and he was honest with me about the shortages, time frames and just did a really excellent job at communicating. I received the phone call that I my beautiful watch arrived two days before my bridal shower!!
It was the best experience ever; I truly felt all of the love and positive energy from the entire team. I came in to pick up my watch 30 minutes before they closed; Jonathan was prepared for my arrival, another gentleman adjusted my watch and taught me how to do the adjustments myself, and Stacy did a complimentary cleaning of my engagement ring so that it was picture ready for my bridal shower! I was tight on time so I could not do the engravement the day of, but again Jonathan was so accommodating and offered this service at a later time.
