Had an awesome time parasailing with Chute Em Up parasail. Arrived two hours early as suggested and although traffic was lighter than I was expecting, dealing with parking and parking meter was kind of a hassle so the suggestion of arriving early was appreciated and needed.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff; made me feel welcome and safe. Besides my family of four, there were five other people parasailing in the same time slot as us, and the boat was big enough that we all had plenty of room to sit comfortably. It got a little hot while we were waiting for the boat to depart, but once we got on the boat, the breeze was welcome.

Our sailing adventure lasted a decent amount of time, maybe five to 10 minutes, which didn't feel too short or too long, but just the perfect amount of time to be up there. Along with the beautiful view from high atop the gulf, the dip in the water was fun, too. I'm not too fond of heights (or extreme adventures), but I always felt safe and secure in the harness and this was fun without making my palms sweat with anxiety - the perfect amount of adventure for me. It was smooth and actually much quieter up there in the sky than I was expecting.

During our stay in FL, we visited both coasts, so I looked into parasailing on Pompano Beach as well, but Chute Em Up was a much better deal for what I wanted to spend and was the best-reviewed, which was the deciding factor for me. After our experience, it was clear to see why they had so many good reviews. The picture package they offer for extra was a reasonable price as well. I hadn't purchased the picture package initially when I purchased tickets online, but we were able to purchase after parasailing.

If you’re gonna parasail in Clearwater, come here! There’s plenty of places to go through but I’d doubt you’d be met with the same experience they offer. We waited over forty minutes past the time another business was said to open, as they were slowly setting up shop, and when we finally went up to ask we were not acknowledged. When I piped up and asked about parasailing, I was answered with a nonchalant “oh I don’t know, maybe check back in an hour, it depends...” and no show of regard. Needless to say we left and headed here to chute em up. I called and asked if they had room for the trip leaving in about 20 minutes. I was answered with a friendly and confident “Sure! Come on down, see ya!”. It was about ten til departure when we went up to the window. The staff was friendly, making jokes and even let us keep our boards we had toted from the beach back behind their counter. The crowds showed up right when we did so I’d say to try to show up closer to fifteen or more before a trip leaves- granted adjustments may be needed depending on times; this was a 10 am departure. Use your Clearwater map (available at the visitor building on the beach by the park/pier) coupon and they’ll knock down the price!! Gives more budget room for a tip for the boat crew. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Staff was friendly, informative, made jokes, played music, made it overall enjoyable even if you weren’t the ones up in the air. We went up first and had a blast. Still waiting refund for weather cancellation. My trip was scheduled for August 9th at 3pm, which had to be canceled due to weather. I received a call from Chute Em Up parasailing telling me that the tour was canceled and that I would be refunded the money in a couple of days. I completely understand how bad Florida weather is and had no issue with the tour being canceled. Although, it is now two weeks later with no refund. I had to call trip advisor(who I booked with) to ask how the refund process is going and when can I expect the return. Trip advisor informed me that no refund request was even processed. I then requested that trip advisor assist me with the refund request on my behalf and told them about the situation. That was done last week with the trip advisor sending them an email about the refund. I have called the business and the voicemail box isn’t even set up for me to leave a message. This was after I called two different numbers due to them not matching up on google and trip advisor site. I am not the only one that day who has still not received a refund there was another couple in my party who still haven’t received their refund as well. When I booked I was so happy to read that they would refund my money incase of weather related issues, it is beyond disappointing they do not follow through on...
