This is a tough review for me to leave but I feel it’s necessary. And before anyone asks, yes, I did contact the business owner directly before posting this. But my experience was so troubling, I feel others need to be aware so it doesn’t happen to someone else. I went to Glam Nash (who came highly recommended for her speciality with vivid hair color) to have my hair dyed on May 19th, she did a pink balayage and I was very happy with it when it was finished. I purchased color safe shampoo and conditioner from her, and after only one wash with those products, one section in the front faded quite a bit, but only that one section, the rest still looked fine. The section that faded was the very last section she dyed so I just figured it probably didn’t have long enough to process. She told me I would get several months out of my color, so when I noticed that one front section fading and so quickly, I contacted her right away and she told me to come back in to have it touched up. The day I went back for her to touch it up, (yesterday, June 9th) she used a different product and different color (which I didn’t realize until after the fact). I don’t know anything at all about hair and since she’s the professional, I trusted her, at the time I had no reason not to. Although I didn’t feel it was right to be charged for a touch up after so little time, I understood she had to cover her costs, so I obliged. When she was finished, I did verbalize that it was darker than before and that it had colored all of my hair, it was no longer a balayage. I also did verbalize that I didn’t really love the top, it was high up close to my roots but not blended well, but she brushed off my concerns and assured me the darkness of the color would fade to the pink from before, and that after a couple of washes it would look fine. I didn’t realize until I got home that she never gave me a mirror to show me the back, and if she had there is no way in the world I would have left, but she COULD see it and when I got home and saw how bad it was, I realized why she didn’t show me. I am extremely upset that she let me leave looking like this, she saw it, she had to know it looked terrible. Once I got home and started looking at it with a mirror, I noticed how uneven it was, you can literally see the blunt brush strokes up at the very top. The application is extremely sloppy and patchy in places. I have since washed my hair with clarifying shampoo multiple times, hoping it would fade like she said it would, but it has not, because when she touched it up she used a permanent hair dye that lifted the color of all my hair, not just what she had lightened previously. I will note in this review that she did tell me she processed a full refund that will take 2-5 days from now for me to receive, and I do appreciate that. However it is still going to cost hundreds of dollars (much more than I paid her/am being refunded) to have this corrected by someone else, and it will likely also take several days to do it. And in addition to that, all of the chemicals and processing it will take to correct this will take a damaging toll on my hair. So for this reason I feel it is important to share this review of my experience. She saw what my hair looked like when she was finished and let me leave looking like this. I spent so much money and time having this done and now I have to spend even more to have it fixed, so I feel my experience needs to be shared so that anyone considering using her service can be aware and informed when making their decision. I am attaching photos for reference. The first is the day it was done, I was very happy. The 2nd shows the fading of the front section after only one wash. The last photos are after...
Read moreA few months ago, I decided to get hair extensions and found Nash through an online search. I booked a consultation, which took place at a salon in Clermont where she was working at the time. I paid the full deposit for my extensions and scheduled the installation.
A couple of days before my appointment, Nash called to tell me she had moved to a new location: Glam Nash, Suite 4306, Clermont. Upon arrival, I noticed the salon did not appear ready for business no sinks, no mirrors, just her station.
I had been very specific about what I wanted to achieve with my new look and trusted Nash to deliver. However, during installation she began placing the extensions too high on my head. I asked her to keep them only to the sides for volume, not the top. She also did not have proper tools or water to remove keratin residue from my hair, and instead told me to use coconut oil at home. This was disappointing, as I had an event the same day.
The package I paid for included a haircut to blend the extensions into my natural hair, but she only trimmed the ends. My hair felt bulky, had no movement, and clearly needed layers. I paid and asked if I could come back to have the extensions repositioned and use the rest of the hair she said she would store for me.
That same evening, I had to go to another professional stylist to blend the cut and remove leftover keratin residue.
When it came time to move up my extensions, I called and left several messages. Eventually, Nash texted back saying I had contacted her on her days off, which I understood—but then informed me she no longer had my extensions and did not want to do my hair, wishing me “good luck.”
I paid $500 for 14-inch hair extensions (only on the sides of my head) $ 300 for install i did not receive what I was promised. Nash refused to return my remaining extensions and did not deliver the service I paid for.
In my experience, she was unprofessional, dishonest, and did not follow through on her commitments. If you are looking for a skilled, mature, and experienced stylist, I recommend going elsewhere. Unfortunately, I feel I was scammed, and this was a hard...
Read moreI just want to start by saying how amazing Nash’s personality is. I was nervous meeting someone new when i booked with her but almost immediately I felt like I was just talking to another one of my besties. She made me feel so comfortable and listened to all of the concerns I had regarding my hair and the goals I wanted! At my first color appointment with her, she did a beautiful job recreating my vision with dying my hair black with vibrant, purple money pieces. I went back to her for sew in extensions and she did an AMAZING job. My journey with extensions was such a good one because of how knowledgeable Nash was. If there was ever an issue (which if there was it was because of my hair texture) she was so quick to bring me in for free to fix it!!!! Nash is so insanely talented and genuinely cares about the people she services so i always felt anything she recommends is a genuine recommendation. I would highly highly highly...
