MY Colorado Store — Attraction in Colorado Springs

As a local artist, I respectfully and strongly disagree with the review below. I sold hand painted and signed wine glasses, Christmas ornaments, Colorado photo frames, and other crafts for a year at this store. All my Items sold out repeatedly. I even painted the Colorado Store windows for a low cost to show the owner good will. In turn, the owner haggled and haggled with me about my prices until he was making 70 percent profit on my work. Since I was new at selling crafts and wanted to make a name, I put up with it, raising my prices as I could. The owner always found excuses to delay or lower payment for my artwork as well as payment for working as a stocker in his store. I had to visit his store several times and feed parking meters for any one payment. He also tried to get me to copy ideas of other crafters selling in his store and do them at a lower price! I DON'T call that love or support. Don't sell at this store, if you care about local artists, don't buy signed hand painted items for low prices here or at any store. Artists should not be treated as sweat shop workers and their ideas should not be stolen.

OMG WHERE DO I EVEN BEGAN I was super excited to go and buy stuff and upon arriving I had 30 minutes to shop until they were closed and I was looking around and within 10 minutes he said hurry up and make your selection because I am closing and I said it's not even closing time and he said hurry it up I need to close RIGHT NOW !!!!!!!!!! SO I ENDED UP PUTTING BACK EVERYTHING AND LEAVING SO DISRESPECTFUL AND JUST TO LET EVERYBODY ELSE KNOW NOBODY LIKES THIS GENTLEMAN AND HIS STORE HE IS VERY RUDE AND I HAVE HEARD IT FROM A LOT OF OTHER STORES THAT HE IS VERY RUDE NOBODY LIKES HIM IN THAT...

If you are look Iooking for something touristy to buy to remember your trip to Colorado then this would probably have it. I have lived here my whole life and was just going in for a sticker. I was the only one in there and the counter worker had a sharp eye on me. When I left I kinda thought I would have liked if he would have offered to help me find an item. Not a bad place, just not Colorado friendly in my opinion. Still lots of touristy...
