While in Columbia, we decided to go to the movies for a 7:00pm showing of Twisters on a Friday evening in July. The outside ticket counter was closed. We had to go inside to the concession area to buy tickets. The lines were long! There was an attendant with a tablet in the foyer as we walked in asking if we had already bought tickets. So I guess buying tickets online is the fastest way to get in your seats. When we finally got to the concession counter, we were hungry and got the following: pizza, large popcorn and large drink and a 16 oz draft beer. With all of that plus two tickets, it cost us over $70. Yep, SEVENTY DOLLARS. Also, we had to pick our seats from a screen. No more sit where you want. It’s assigned seats. Once in the theater, the seats were leather recliners that had electric tilt. It was comfortable and better than the old school seats. The screen was large and the sound was good quality. I give it 4-stars due to the extremely long wait to get tickets and concessions.

Went to the Theater this Tuesday at 5pm with the intent of watching a movie in my free time. The second I entered the building I was confronted by an older fellow who asked if I had a ticket, I said ”Not yet, just looking around.” He responded “looking around huh?” getting closer and poking his chest out trying to intimidate me or something. I ignored him and stayed by the exit in case the situation got weirder. Im in no rush Googling run times of stuff, around 5-10 minutes later a manager shows up and Im thinking I must not be welcome and left. I feel like I was treated unreasonably and unfair.

Fairy disappointing. The new big leather seats are falling apart and look pretty gross. Before the pandemic, I always used to have them print my digital ticket because I like having keeping the tickets. They were scanning tickets at the door with a phone, and when I went to the desk, they said it was impossible to print because it was scanned. But you couldn't get in without getting your ticket scanned. Overall the experience has really gone down hill. It's really not worth paying a convince fee that was half the price of a single ticket to sit in seats that are falling apart.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Regal Cinema in Columbia, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional moviegoing experience. From the moment I stepped into the theater, I was greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and a sense of anticipation for the film I was about to enjoy.

Regal Cinema offers a state-of-the-art facility that caters to movie lovers of all ages. The theater was impeccably clean, and the seating was comfortable and well-maintained. The screens were large and provided a crisp, high-definition picture quality that truly enhanced the cinematic experience.

The staff at Regal Cinema in Columbia deserves special recognition for their outstanding service. From the friendly ticket attendants to the concession stand employees, everyone was incredibly helpful and courteous. They were knowledgeable about the movies playing and went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was seamless and enjoyable.

One of the highlights of my experience was the diverse selection of movies available. Regal Cinema showcases a wide range of films, from the latest blockbusters to independent gems and everything in between. Whether you're a fan of action-packed adventures, heartfelt dramas, or side-splitting comedies, you're sure to find something that suits your taste. The theater also offers a great variety of showtimes, allowing flexibility for moviegoers.

Regal Cinema understands the importance of concessions in creating a complete movie experience. The snack bar offered an extensive menu of tasty treats, from classic popcorn and candy to gourmet options like loaded nachos and specialty drinks. The concessions were fresh, and the staff efficiently served customers, ensuring that no one missed a minute of the movie.

I was also pleased with the overall ambiance of the theater. The sound system was immersive, transporting me into the heart of the film. The theater maintained a comfortable temperature throughout the screening, ensuring that I could fully enjoy the movie without any distractions.

Regal Cinema in Columbia takes the safety and well-being of its patrons seriously. During my visit, I observed the implementation of safety protocols, such as social distancing measures and readily available hand sanitizers. These measures provided a sense of reassurance and made me feel comfortable and secure during my time at the theater.

In conclusion, Regal Cinema in Columbia truly stands out as a premier destination for movie enthusiasts. With its top-notch facilities, exceptional customer service, diverse movie selection, and commitment to safety, it's a cinematic haven that offers a delightful experience for all. Whether you're enjoying a movie with friends, family, or even by yourself, you can trust Regal Cinema to provide a memorable and enjoyable time at the movies. I highly recommend visiting Regal Cinema in Columbia for an unparalleled...

Theater is great, seats are comfortable, the experience was pretty good- the movie was awesome, and I was there with the person I love most, so I am grateful for that. You have to buy your tickets at a kiosk, which is ok. Our most recent experience was last night to see Dune. It was my birthday. We got to the theater in time and found our seats. My partner tried to surprise me with snacks and beer. The concession person would not allow him to bring both his and my beer at the same time back into the theater, after he had already paid for the two beers plus snacks, and it was obvious he was the only person there to bring them back to the theater. He insisted I had to come out of the theater to come physically get it myself, and refused to budge on this. This has not ever happened before, so I am unsure if this is their policy, or if this particular employee was on some sort of weird power trip. So when my partner came back, he had to whisper-tell me what happened, apologize that his birthday surprise was ruined, and I had to miss the beginning of Dune, a film I have been waiting to see for a while now, to go fetch a beer. When I got to the concession counter and gave the guy my name, he was busy talking to his coworkers, and then could not remember which of the two beers he had given my partner, so he had to guess which one he was holding for me. To his credit, he did guess correctly, and I sure appreciated my beer being gate kept unnecessarily by someone younger than my oldest child. I was not carded or anything, so I am unsure why we had to go through all of this so I could have this beer. Greatly inconveniencing your customers is not a good way to entice them to return. The theater screen also had a very prominent and obvious, I'm not sure what to call it, large dark spot? on the screen, so that was quite distracting from the movie experience. All in all, I would probably come back to this theater, but would not purchase concessions again and definitely not alcohol, given...

Staff was friendly and theater was clean. Variety of expensive menu options and films. That's the end of what this theater has going for it. First off, they didn't let me use my cup. We brought our own movie theater plastic cup and didn't want a throwaway garbage cup (thin plastic or paper) that Regal has at the concessions. It was a standard size and should have been able to fill up. We were willing to pay whatever price to put the drink in our reusable cup. I even would have bought a thick plastic reusable cup if they had the option. But alas, the staff said no. So no cherry Coca-Cola for us to enjoy our 3 From Hell Premiere. Guess we'll stick to drinking out of the fountain like animals. Second, we ordered our seats online. We went through the fathom third party site, was redirected to the Regal site, and specifically chose our seats. We wanted to be towards the center, but slightly up. So we would have been on the upper level. So we were surprised when we got into the theater and had a low front seat not even close to the center like we planned. DO NOT TRUST WEBSITE SEATING!! Looks like they have updated the theater, now they have less numbers but more of the comfy reclining seats. I like the seats, but we are upset we weren't sitting where we originally bought tickets for.

Regal/Fathom people: please update auditorium maps so customers can accurately choose seats. Also please invest in more durable refillable cups at Regal Cinemas. Name your initial price and then charge us once per film viewing. Loyal customers will appreciate cups that don't fall apart and refillable, reusable cups will play to more eco-friendly Gen-Z consumer trends. If this reusable cup is available, PLEASE inform your staff. They mentioned no other alternative when we asked about...
