Angry Wings inside Banks Food Hall has some of the best fried chicken out there, hands down especially in the Columbus area. Korean fried chicken hits different. It’s double fried for that extra crunch, marinated for more flavor, and coated in lighter batter so it’s crispy without being greasy. I’ve had pretty much everything on their menu, and honestly, nothing has disappointed. The bulgogi is solid, and that chicken and croffle combo? Crazy good. The habanero hits with just the right amount of heat, and the soy garlic is easily one of my favorites. The dry rub lemon pepper and dry rub Cajun both go crazy too. The classic fried chicken four-piece with two legs and two thighs, fried original crispy is my go to. I love dark meat. It’s marinated, perfectly seasoned, and that crunch is unreal. I usually grab fries with it, and it never misses. The owner is super cool, always walking around checking on customers, and you can tell he really cares about the experience. If you haven’t checked out Angry Wings yet, you’re definitely missing out. #creatorsearchinsights #foodie #foodtiktok #columbusga #friedchicken

On a Monday afternoon, I visited this establishment in the food hall. They had only opened the previous Friday. While contemplating what to eat, the cashier offered me and a companion two free wings. We were engulfed by the flavor of the breaded wings, which were well-seasoned and spicy, fried crispy, gluten-free, and made with an alternative rice flour rather than all purpose flour. It was disappointing that they did not provide a 10-piece wing combo, that none of their combos included a drink, and that their only vegetable-based sides were kimchi and what the cashier stated “americanized coleslaw”. We ordered two 6-piece honey garlic wing combos: one with mac and cheese and kimchi, and the other with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. While the wings were flawless, the cashier recommended we have the sauce on the side, which was a good idea. The mac and cheese was very creamy, and the cheese overshadowed any seasoning that was added. The kimchi was acidic, and the mashed potatoes were not fully mashed; the gravy, which was surprisingly supplied with it, was also cold. Overall, while the pricing and sides were cold & underwhelming, the wings were good and something I would return for.

My family and I were driving through Columbus after a day trip to Providence Canyon, and we found this food hall where the “Angry wings and things” is located. We had two types of wings, a panko chicken meal and a brand new beef Pattie meal that was just added to the menu today. Everything was so flavorful and finger licking good. The wings are super crispy and the beef meal was so flavorful, with egg, a smooth homemade brown gravy, and a macaroni salad that balanced everything out. I would order this again. A small bit of ponzu sauce added to it, made the flavor really take off. The owner/chef is a very kind man who made sure we enjoyed our meals. It was his passion for making sure that we enjoyed everything that stood out the most as very few places have service like that these days. You can’t go wrong with anything you order there.

I took my husband and my 4 year old daughter to eat there tonight! Their wings are absolutely incredible, especially with the honey garlic and angry sauces. To anyone who thinks the honey garlic sauce is too sweet, let’s not forget that honey is the star ingredient—it’s supposed to be sweet, and it’s done perfectly here! I have never ever tasted a flavor like this wing and honey garlic combo!! It's AMAZING!

The bulgogi is rich and flavorful, and the rice noodles are spicy while still being incredibly delicious.

Even though the prices are slightly higher, the overall food quality is great. I truly wish them continued success and hope they keep flourishing in the Columbus area.

If they could expand the menu to include kimbap or dishes like kimchi stew or yukgaejang stew, that would be AWESOME!!

I can't wait for the park construction to be completed—it’ll be wonderful to bring my daughter here to enjoy a meal after a fun...

Extremely personable and passionate team at Angry Wings & Things. They provided my party with a wing sample since the wings are different than traditional American style wings (read better than most American style wings).

Marinated overnight and double fried, these are juicy and have a great, light heat to them and are good without any sauce. They also let us sample the Angry Sauce, which was a nice mixture of oyster, gochujang sauce (from what I could sus out).

We ordered the wings, street noodles, and kimchi, and the portions were awesome. We saw the owners bring food out to the other stalls as well for some leftovers, which was a really generous showing.

After eating, the decision isn't if we will return, but if we return within a week of our first visit. This place is easily in the running for best wings in the whole...
