All I can say is WOW! I found this gem on Google, and booked an appointment with Cheyeene Yates online. I’m so glad that I did! In addition to having an awesome name, the salon is clean, professional, Covid compliant, and Cheyeene is incredibly skillful in her craft. I have an asymmetrical, short, and curly cut. After a year of home pandemic-style cuts (lovingly but NOT expertly provided) by my wife, my hair needed some serious work. Cheyeene took her time and care in fixing the errors that had been made, and she even took care of problem areas for me. What’s even more outstanding is that she understands CURLY HAIR! Anyone with curly hair knows what I’m saying! If you’re lucky enough to find a stylist who can at least cut curls, it’s a rarity that they are able to style it appropriately. Cheyeene was able to do both while beautifully and thoughtfully explaining her process. The salon uses products from Italy that are so reasonably priced.

My appointment was cancelled the day of my appointment, twice, for both times I've scheduled with Andy at this salon. The first appointment was in February 2025. Andy had been up the night before with his sick dog, understandable. We rescheduled from my day off to a day that I had to work (I work nights). I missed out on sleep to have my hair done because this was the day he wanted to change it to. Okay. So, at this appointment I learned that he will do coloring and he put me on the calendar for today, April 29th at 3:30PM. Where I am today... at 12:49PM he sent a text saying sorry, he has to cancel at late notice, again, because he has been pushing through the day and he can't do it because he isn't feeling well. Just like the first time he cancelled. WHY COMIT TO AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU'RE GOING TO CANCEL? THEIR WEBSITE STATES THAT IF I CANCEL DAY OF, CUSTOMER WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR CANCELING APPOINTMENT DAY OF. He is as reliable as the 19 year old employee who constantly calls off because he just doesn't want to work. Andy George has been my stylist for just over 5 years. And for so many reasons, I can truly say I look forward to each and every appointment with him. When I stared seeing him I had short hair, and now it's down the middle of my back. So, he's cut my hair when it's been a lot of different lengths and I've never had a bad cut! I am a natural blonde and didn't bother getting color for a long time. Then, one day I told him how my blonde had gotten darker as I aged and I asked him if he could brighten it up. He said yes and we set an appointment. The color he did was absolutely perfect! He matched my natural color and natural highlights and when I look in the mirror, I see the color I had in high school. Amazing. I'm so mad at myself for not asking him to color it years ago. On top of being ridiculously talented at cutting, coloring, and styling, Andy is just so easy to talk to and I've loved getting to know him over the years. He is kind and cares so much about each of his clients. I look forward to my appointments because I get to hang out and laugh with him for an hour.
