Bob's Discount Furniture and Mattress Store — Attraction in Ferndale

I went to this furniture store with my Girlfriend on Saturday to look for a table. We were greeted by a super personable and professional young man named Chris. He helped us to find exactly what we were looking for and after explaining everything to us about financing, and delivery we made the purchase. Chris was definitely the WOW factor at this store. On Monday my sister said she would like to look for a new sectional. I said i know where to go and who to see. We went hoping that Chris was working but he didnt come in until later at 5. Kathy found exactly what she was looking for at an incredible deal and we made the purchase. I talked to the manager at the desk as i was paying she was super nice and helpful. I explained that we were there to see Chris but he didn't come in until later and we wanted to purchase this sectional now as it was a floor model. She said no problem that she would put Chris' name down as our salesman. I told her i would be back at 5 to talk to Chris and thank him once again for how great he was on Saturday and that is why we came back today. We've been searching for a couch for a few months and have some specifics we really needed (size, firmness and layout). We went to several furniture stores, look at higher dollar furniture as well as places like Ikea. We always left feeling a bit down. For giggles we decided we would try Bob's with very low expectations to find exactly what we are looking for - as far as the entire package in something we could afford (less than 3k). Well, we found one we liked! It was firm enough, hit me in the back of the legs just right, color was okay, we could get it in the layout we need and it wasn't going to take 12 weeks to get it (this is the end of August and we were promised September 18 or earlier). We were only supposed to be walking in and looking at things. Right away this guy Mike gave us the bobs deal that makes furniture extremely affordable and I should say nice furniture. I didn’t have to choose comfort over quality. I definitely got both unfortunately we weren’t able to seal the deal. We had to go eat breakfast for a birthday when we got back he was dealing with somebody else But got us to work with another good guy and the deal was sealed. They have definitely great people and great deals the manager or the one guy that I thought was manager definitely was pretty mean to randoms there for some reason maybe it was the intense stress of the day I’m not sure but overall, I had a great experience.
