FOR TRAVEL AND LIVING STORE ONLY!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! I am beyond perplexed as to why there aren’t more negative review on this company! I’ll try and narrow it down to the most significant issues I encountered.
First, this store is lucratively located inside the Venetian Hotel and have various flashy items for sale to lure people in. I of course was immediately drawn to a beautiful black studded panther sculpture set atop a glass table. I asked the attendant, Moses, what the price was and he immediately quoted me $5K. I was taken aback by the price so I asked him what exactly justifies this price, he literally told me ALL items in the store were handmade by local artists in Las Vegas, then he asked if I would consider buying it for $3500. I told Moses I had a concert to attend that evening, I would think about in the interim, I told him I’d be back afterwards which I did. He assured me they’d be able to ship said item anywhere in the contingent U.S. free of charge, along an additional item from a rack containing ceramic figurines.
Upon purchasing item, I noted the bottom of the receipt said “No refund, exchange within 14 days” – which was NEVER disclosed to me, I immediately broughT this to Moses’s attention and he assured me this didn’t apply to my purchase, he assured me the item was fully insured should anything happen to it and I would be able to return or exchange the item should ANYTHING happen to it.
Long story short, I ended up purchasing the sculpture. (The return/exchange policy was NEVER disclosed prior to purchase mind you,) I was still in Las Vegas after a couple of days had passed and I hadn’t heard anything from the company, so I contacted their number and left a message. I later received a call from a Patricia stating that she will be my point of contact during the shipping process.
Almost 3 weeks had passed by the time the sculpture got to me, (via UPS)when Moses initially promised me the item would ship from their warehouse within 2-3 business days… The box was heavily damaged – I contacted Patricia and she assured me there was a box within the box that protected the sculpture. I took pictures of everything.
So as suspected, the sculpture was damaged, there were holes and missing paint, missing studs- But upon further assessment, I noted the sculpture was NOT resin at all (as told to us by Moses), the sculpture was made of complete foam with a light shellac shelling. THE BEST PART of this all, at the bottom of the sculpture there’s a sticker that reads “MADE IN CHINA”!!!! THIS IS NOT A “HANDMADE” ITEM BY A LOCAL ARTIST AS STATED TO ME BY MOSES & PATRICIA!!!
THIS IS FRAUD!! ITS ALL A SCHEME! Not only do you get bamboozled into thinking you’re buying a one-of-a-kind item handmade by a local artist, we found the same item on HOME DEPOT for $430!!!!!!!
We are now in the midst of disputing the purchase and possibly going to court, this is false advertisement at its finest and fraudulent scheming on their part!!!
Please be aware when going into this store! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!! MOSES WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE TO GET THE...

As an avid shopper, I've explored countless indoor shopping areas, but none have left as lasting an impression as the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort. Read moreThe Shoppes locates inside the Venetian are a great attraction and well worth a visit (or two). The European architecture is on full display throughout all the passages, walking bridges and St. Marks square. Everything is kept shiny clean and looks new, including the floors. There are many many shops, including high end designers that require a fat wallet. The large food court has abundant food options from pizza, subway, asian, and sit-down restaurants. Since the Shoppes are connected to the Palazzo and the Sands Expo center, there is always a crowd anywhere you go. Not overwhelming or in excess though.
You will encounter various greeters that want you to sign up for time share tours. Most are nice people but the wares they are hawking are designed to get you into the timeshare monthly payment trap. Though this is not limited to the Venetian as this practice is pervasive throughout the city everywhere. I was fortunate enough to run into Bev Daniels at one if the counters outside the food court and he was pleasant to engage with - not pushy, did not make unsolicited offers and simply helped and answered all my questions.
The central square/courtyard called St. Marks Square is a sight to see. It is simply magnificent. The dome shaped ceiling creates an evening sky effect and it is easy to forget what time of day it is. Sitting in the square you feel like you are in a European city. They have done an amazing job creating this mood and effect and this was my favorite part.
They have water canals running inside with gondola rides as well as singing gondoliers. There are multiple live performances scheduled at various times throughout the day. Whether you stay at this property or are just visiting you will enjoy all it has to offer. I highly recommend including this in your list of...
