If you donât have to come here I recommend you to go to other location. The workers here are so rude and will treat you so bad like if theyâre were force to work there and I understand sometimes you get stressed but I had work in customer service for more than 4 years and I never treat anyone like they treat me here. Avoid all the stress and I anxiety I had to go through.
I went there today 1/08/2025 to solve some problems I had regarding my car tags and pay some fees that I had. I went to the building A and they send me to the building B when they call my number it said window 25 and it wasnât a window 25 on building B so I ask the officers that where there and they said it was in the other building and I nicely told them but they send me here and he literally yell at me âIT IS AT THE OTHER BUILDINGâ. There was no need for him to be so rude. Then I went to building A the lady who help me was nice but unfortunately I had to go to building B again they said window 9 and there was no one there so I have to wait to be attended which I did without complaining then I was call to window 7 around 1:40-3 there was an old white lady and I greet her like I do with everyone because Iâm a person with manners something that lady donât know and she was on her phone and took her time to help me which I didnât mind, then she proceed to help me which I thought she did but she didnât she just type on her computer and told me is there anything else that I can help you with and I said no but immediately I said oh yea I want to get my car tags and she yelled at me âI JUST ASKED YOU IF YOU NEED SOMETHING ELSEâ then she said I had some other fees that I didnât know about so I asked her how much they were and she responded me with a rude attitude again that she didnât know and she couldnât help me with it so I said âokâ then I said âso can I pay for this nowâ referring to the problem I was trying to solve and she said you already did it and she said look at here on the paper that I had with was meant to say that I have to pay in full, not that I already paid it in full at this point I was about to have a anxiety attack because unfortunately I suffer from anxiety so I decide to leave and try to solve it at the other building but I ended up doing it all online because they couldnât help me. And if you ask why I didnât do all that online at first it was because I couldnât do it because they said I had to be done in person and because I had to do it online I now I have to wait like a week to get my tags because all the time it takes to process the payments and all that because if I wanted it to be done the same day I had to pay in person and that was what I was trying to do but unfortunately the employees there donât give a damn about you so I highly recommend you going to...
Read moreOn 3/4/23 a drunk driver slamed into my legally parked car, totaling it. Every institution that I have had to work with, including the MVA has treated me like utter trash throughout the entire process. I am now finding out that MVA is trying to fine me because a car that is undrivable, sitting in a junk yard totaled, and NO LONGER EVEN MINE LEGALLY, does not have insurance on it.
on 3/29/23 I mailed a letter of total loss to MVA from my insurance company. I made sure it was addressed to the correct department (insurance compliance.) They refused to open or aknowledge this letter despite the fact that I spoke with MULTIPLE people at MVA who all told me that a letter stating when the accident happened and that it was a total loss would be enough proof to allow me to cancel my insurance policy. I sent in the letter because my insurance company told me that they may not be able to retrieve my tags to return.
My boyfriend's car was also totaled in this accident, and we had the same insurance policy. MVA accepted his letter and tags, but not mine. It seems that they want to punish and fine women specifically. I will be making this known to all government officals that I can, as this is clearly discrimination and should be illegal.
So now even with an offical and tags returned, the MVA is still claiming that I need insurance on the vechile and trying to fine me. It's August. I mailed proof of everything they asked me back in APRIL.
It is resolved now, but I still need to warn people that this MVA location is discriminatory and will not update their system for several months, which may cause you to suffer. They think it's funny when poor people have to suffer more, apparently.
If you ever have to do anything here, I hughly suggest getting MULTIPLE receipts in writing, because one will not be good enough.
Thanks MVA, for making an already horrible and stressful experience even WORSE than it...
Read moreI went with a fast pass from a previous visit of an unresolved issue. After waiting in line for 10 minutes in the main building, without signs that they do not do driving licenses-related issues there, I went to the other building to wait another 20 minutes in line (with a fast pass, because there is only one line). Only two people were staffing the information desk of four available places, and the place was busy. The call for my number came quickly. I had been told in an email from MVA that my file was processed. So surprise, surprise, the person told me I had to wait another ten minutes for the supervisor to process my file. 1 ½ hours later, they finally called my number again, different person, of course. She never looked me in the eye, and I got shouted at by the guy who first served me, for asking a question. He never listened to what I had to say, then just walked away. The supervisor just stood there, doing nothing. I know her from the previous visit when she dealt with my husbandâs license. The woman who served me then painstakingly entered all of my details and copied all my files, even though I was told it was all done. What did I have to wait for so long, if they didnât even do anything yet? So after another 20 minutes with her, I finally got out of there. Over two hours in there for something that should have taken no more than five minutes. Both the people who served me had huge attitude. The guy shouted at me, really unprofessionally, and the woman engaged in conversation with her co-worker, without really paying attention to my issue. She chose to look at the lunch menu the supervisor gave her, rather than working on my issue. No customer service, they really do not seem to care about what happens to you. I was shocked at the supervisorâs attitude, but at least I know why it took 1 ½ hours to finally be served, since all the while my issue was being resolved, she stood...
