This is a great place where you order at the counter, take a number, and some really super sweet person is going to bring you your food. They do have a large menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan options and some really amazing coffees and other drinks, including smoothies. They have pastries and croissants and desserts as well. I love the flat block here. I also love the charcoal waffle, which is entirely black. It’s topped with fresh fruit and it’s moist and it’s big and I really love it. I almost always only ever get salads here, but lately I’ve been trying other things and I haven’t been disappointed.

Would say is that I’m not somebody who is always super fond of completely healthy foods. Sometimes I feel like the salads are actually too healthy, and I know it’s just me.

They do have outdoor seating at the location in Coronado, in front inside and also in back. The atmosphere or the vibe I would say is just super chill very laid-back and nothing fancy. It’s not cheap necessarily, but it won’t break the bank either. Parking on the weekends can be challenging so I always park at a friend‘s house and we walk over. I’ve been here many times, and also the one in Delmar. The one in Delmar is somehow a bit more turned up A vibe. The one in Delmar is more airy and light and just a tad more up in terms of how it feels. That’s the only way I can explain it. Wanted to celebrate my partners birthday with a nice little brunch, unfortunately this experience sucked.

Ordered two drinks. They forgot to bring my margarita for more than 20 minutes and I had to remind the cashier TWICE that I am still waiting on my drink.

The shakshuka came with one piece of "grilled" bread which was insufficient for the amount of sauce was present in the shakshuka. Not to mention it was not grilled or even toasted. I asked an employee if I could get another piece of bread and he said he would check then just disappeared and never followed up with us. Despite the fact he was standing on the other side of the restaurant the entire time laughing with another employee. At least just tell me no or that there is an extra charge.

On three occasions an employee randomly tried to take the plate off our table as we waited for additional bread for the shakshuka, each time I said "no were finishing that". They clearly weren't paying attention or communicating.

The Belgian waffle was just terrible. There is no way that waffle was made fresh to order. It tasted and had the consistency of it being just pulled out of a warmer.
