First time here and we loved it! We (2 adults and 5 children; 17, 15, 13, 8, 2yrs old) are from out of town and were able to get a discount since we are part of the Zoological Society. There is plenty of parking in the surrounding areas. Service was 100% from the time we got there to pay for admission to the moment we walked out of the aquarium. The hands on exhibits were very nice and the staff at each one were friendly and answered all our kids questions no matter how "simple" the questions were. The Texas Aquarium was a perfect destination. It was small enough not to lose everyone, but large enough to hold their interest for hours. Sure, you won't find a whale or a moving sidewalk, but at every turn there will be a touch pool, a tunnel to crawl through, or a big tortoise walking freely. All the outdoor exhibits gives you a change for fresh air and the bay breeze. It's only open for a few hours a day so of course it will be crowded but the hallways and walkways are very wide with lots of room for stroller/large groups...
