Gettysburg PA is like stepping back in time. Beautiful town. Driving down mainstreet was like a travel back in time as homes and businesses that were standing during the Civil War are marked with a bronze plaque and easily identifiable. People still live in these homes, businesses are still run in them, it's amazing. The battlefield is sobering. You stand there, and feel the enormity of the battle. It was literally in these families back yard. Cannonball holes are still visible in buildings. This is a must see destination.
