I’ve been here 4 times total the first time I got my hair dyed and you couldn’t even see the color but I didn’t complain because I have extremely bad social anxiety and a hard time speaking up for myself the second time I had a great haircut the third time a year or so ago I had requested the highest level to cut my hair because my hair was extremely long and I wanted to make sure it didn’t get messed up I knew I was paying more but felt it was worth it to get what I wanted it was down to my butt I asked for 3 inches off she cut off almost 8 it was almost to my shoulders I side part my hair and one side was longer then the other I had to re cut it myself when I got home yet I didn’t leave a review or anything I once again didn’t complain and just dealt with it I decided to give them one more chance because I love the salon in General and felt maybe it was just bad luck this last time last week I called and explained in detail what happened previously and that I had regrown my hair to my butt and needed 3 inches cut with layers I moved stylists from my original choice based off what an employee recommended I called 2 hours before my appointment to ask if it was alright if I washed and dried my hair so it would be straight and easier to see how much was being cut because my hair is permed and I didn’t know if maybe that was why it was cut way too much last time because of my curls they said they spoke to the stylist and it was fine no issue when I arrived it was the exact opposite the stylist told me I had to get it washed and dried or he couldn’t cut it how I wanted I had already drove 45 mins so I felt like I had no choice, I explained way too much was cut the last time and I didn’t want that happening again he showed me the back of my hair in the mirror and asked me where I wanted it cut I told him and he trimmed it with me standing up had he left if that way I’d have no complaints he ended up cutting off another 3-4 inches during the cut my hair was past my butt it’s now barley at the middle of my back I asked for a side part but he forced a Middle part I didnt speak up because I have an extremely hard time doing that the hair cut I left with isn’t what I asked for and I hate how short it is I don’t understand why cut off way more then what the person is asking for I feel like I wasted my money:( my hair was past my butt now it’s barley to my chest I really feel like they need to fully refund me because this isn’t okay I did everything I could to make sure they didn’t butcher my hair again and they still did the picture in the black shirt is literally the day before thanksgiving the white line is where my hair is now after my cut this last week I guess I have to spend another 1-2 years growing it back out again just like I had...

I kind of wanted to brush this off , but I thought I should let people know about this before you decide to get a new vivid hair color with them. I was a fresh new client and was scheduled with a vivid stylist back in November 2023. I requested the entire day off for my appointment and I walk in and they tell me I was scheduled with someone else that’s was NOT who I spoke with…. Their excuse was due to a “scheduling error.” To me, it just looked like a manager wanted to take my appointment and gave it to someone else instead…. At first I hesitated, but decided to give them a chance, but that was a mistake. I ended being with a “blonde specialist” who wasn’t able to do my hair cut either…. The only thing she did was just bleaching my hair and my original stylist that I was supposed to be with did the formula of my color (I asked for sky/baby blue). I got there at 10:30 and left around 6pm. I get charged around $520…. After tips it was $600. My hair never got styled due to it being so sensitive after all the bleaching. They ask if I wanted to or not and I said no because of that. I did not feel gorgeous after that. Especially that, I get charged for $80 just for a simple haircut that a random stylist didn’t even do right. That’s after they took a 15% off for not styling my hair. The Left side of my bangs was longer than the other….The price was not worth it. It was not proportional. I also got my forehead burned from bleach and couldn’t get someone to check up on it until the person I was supposed to be schedule with came and saw me and added Vaseline to the wound. Attached below was the result of my hair falling off…. I didn’t even brush it hard and their excuse was “the cuticles were open.” I knew something was off and my hair is usually strong. My hair fell off for days and I had to spend $$$ money to recover from my hair trauma. My hair became stretchy/rubber band- like and brittle and weak. I wanted to cry so bad. A lot of things should’ve prevented this like a test strand or communication with the client with any schedule changes prior to their arrival. Or managers, if you’re responsible for schedule changes for your stylists, let them know as well. They could have warned me or asked me more questions before they destroyed hair health. I don’t know why it got this bad, but it’s disappointing. Please be more considerate of your clients (especially who are new) before you decide to rip them off and...

Lure Salon is a high quality establishment that both myself and my husband have been using for over a year. In terms of the building itself, it's clean, up to date, stylish and comfortable. The environment is trendy but natural. They play low key music that's never overbearing, they have gorgeous high windows that allow a lot of natural light, and the couches/seating is comfortable and feels designed to create a casual, conversational atmosphere.

The services. . .I've never loved my hair more than I do now! I regularly see Kelly for a Mini/Full highlight with a money piece as well as cuts and blow outs. I can't recommend her enough. Every time I go to see her for a touch up, I end up loving my hair more than I did the time before! She's incredibly talented (and hilarious). She takes her time and goes above and beyond. She will NOT forego a longer processing time to get that perfect shade for your hair. She understands her clients needs.

My husband is equally happy with his hair cuts. He has thick, black hair that grows outwards that isn't exactly easy to cut or style. Kelly always makes his hair look perfectly styled and trim, working with the natural way his hair grows and taming it's awkward way of growing. Let's just say we BOTH enjoy each other's hair styles and cuts very much. Kelly is to thank for this!

In terms of the other staff members, we always have a good experience at the front desk. Every employee I've interacted with is professional and kind. It also seems like the mangers/owner really encourages everyone to embrace their own style and express that style at work which I really appreciate. You can tell the employee's feel comfortable being themselves at work.

In addition to Kelly's phenomenal services I would love to give a special shout out to Savannah, Paloma (spelling), Linnea, Melanie, and James. All of these individuals have either helped Kelly with my hair or I have interacted with them at the front desk and they always provide exceptional service.
