Movie Trading Company — Attraction in Dallas

I came to this store location yesterday on 05/27/17 from Arlington TX to purchase a PS3 guitar hero drum set. I called the store prior to me making that 40 minutes drive to there location from my home in Arlington. I get there and I'm given the drum set along with 3 other games that I purchased. My items were bagged. I get back to Arlington to find out that there were batteries left in from the previous owner. I had to scrap out the excessive battery corrosion. Sometimes it would come on sometimes it wouldn't. Then later found out the USB dongle to the controller was not in the bag. Again I live 40 minutes from this store location. I call this store the same night and they said they had the piece at the store and I would either have to come back to retrieve it or call a closer location. Remind you they never said sorry. I call store locations near me and they too do not have this piece. So I call the original store location back and asked was it anyway to mail it to me. They said no, and I can take it back to another store to get my money back or I could drive there to get it. So I made up my mind that I would go the next morning. So I told them I would come get it and again no apologies given for the inconvenience. Something told me to call before I left to make that 40 minute drive. I call and was on hold for at least 4 minutes. Of course they don't have it !!!! So I asked if they sold it overnight and couldn't get an exact answer. This is something that is hard to come by and I have been searching all over the dfw area. So moral of the story ask if everything is in the bag and do your research to each part needed. Second they are only good for games, movies , etc.... accessories you might as well buy new at a higher price for better quality. Long story short something I really wanted I have to go t8the hassle of taking back and continue searching for on my memorial day weekend. Thanks a lot Greenville Ave Location!!! My husband and I own a bunch 3 cases that hold 60 a piece of all the Old throwback cassettes tapes. Big names like entire albums from Prince, The Ojays, Sade, Charlie Wilson, Tupac, Scarface,...the list goes on and on. We took 1 case to this business 1 day because we're semi homeless, or " without shelter" and we needed money so we could continue renting our hole in the wall motel room that we've been living in for the past 8 summers in which is currently under renovation. The first case we took to this place gave us 48 dollars for our case and were grateful because we needed the money but the same situation happened again and we needed money so we decided that for shelter we would take the tapes to them again but this time the lady said they only could give us 1 cent per cassettes, so after scanning both cases which were 120 by name celebrity music proceeded to tell us the cassettes were only worth 4$, we politely gathered our cassettes and we slept outside but and because there was no way we were going to just give the tapes over like that....no freaking way. We been sleeping in our car every since the 23rd of May. It's June the 2nd. If anyone comes across this review and God puts generosity in your hearts...it definitely wouldn't be in vain, even if it's just 1 dollar. Thank you and God bless!!💙 cashapp...

I received a phone call from a man on staff saying my items were ready to be picked up and I asked if I could come in the following morning to pick up my DVDs the guy said yes that was fine that they would hold it until the next morning. When I went in a woman at the counter informed me all my items had been already put alway because I was over the 48 hour limit. The guy who I had spoken to with on the phone was there and told her he said they would hold them for me. The woman yelled at him and told him he shouldn’t have said that and then proceeded to blow me off and say it was my fault because I signed a waiver and to deal with it that it wasn’t her problem. I would have come in the night before had he not said they would be willing to hold them. She was super unkind had short blonde hair and was very rude to me and the employee I had spoken to on the phone. Needless to say I will not be going back to this location ever again. I brought in close to 75 DVDs all the DVDs I owned and didn’t even get an apology for the miscommunication on their end. The woman wouldn’t even make eye contact with me and was all bent out of shape. Would give zero stars if I could worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and felt very uncomfortable for the other employee who was being yelled at in...
