I was in line today behind a young girl who had a toddler that was sitting in his stroller close to the elevated podium that separates the customers from cashiers; and he was tapping it with his little hand. It did not cause a major disturbance, the sound was low to minimum, because again he was a toddler, yet the lady behind the counter found it necessary to address the child in a effort to make him stop. Normally this wouldn't be a problem because this is a place of business, however her tone was VERY unacceptable. As the mother of the child was paying her one hundred dollar plus total, the lady sitting behind the counter on the far right side eating and smacking continued to address the child in a manner that was unpleasant and unnecessary. To be honest I'm not sure if there was a language barrier for the mother because as she could hear the woman speaking, she never reacted and honestly looked a little confused even after the woman behind the counter said loudly "where his momma". Now as a customer observing this, thinking that I would NEVER allow anyone to address me or my child in that tone I spoke up and said "this is a child, a toddler...he isn't hurting anything. Now the young lady who was actually servicing the customer also said something to the child after the other clerk addressed her about it, yet her tone was pleasant, to the point and well received. The rude clerk, cashier, attendant whoever, th smacking on her food with the ugly attitude, contine to address me in the same tone she did the child, telling me and I quote "it ain't none of yo binness (not business)" And she was correct! But, as a customer looking on at how the people before me were being treated and how she addressed me when I addressed her in calm tone, spoke volumes about what type of person she was. As I understand this is a affordable shoe store and that SOME of the customers who frequent this store may be of a diffrent socioeconomic background, it does not mean that customer service should not be your top priority, and that all customers should be treated with respect. To address someones child in the manner in which she did was unacceptable. And again as I was told that it was none of my "binness", it was very out of line for her to respond to me in the manner in which she did especially because i did not address her in a ignorant or degrading fashion. As she continued to address me, I dropped my shoes right where I stood, I told her that she was being ignorant and ghetto and took my little $20 somewhere else. I'm sure this is of no consequence to her, but I believe in patronizing with establishments that seemingly appreciate and value their customers at least to your face. Saying"uhn..uhn you need to stop ugh" in a aggravated, harsh tone to a child multiple times and other unacceptable references is just not ok. From $9.99 to $999.99 if customers are spending their money they deserved to be treated...

Ā Ā Ā Read morei think i was expecting discounted shoes from well known brands when i walked in, which was wrong. they mostly have knock offs of popular shoes and other shoes from brands that are not popular. thats not really that big of a deal since the prices were low, the shoes that i looked at were usually just 15$.
however, for the flats that i was looking for, the band on the shoe was often really uncomfortable because of the plastic that digged into my skin whenever i lifted my foot to walk. other than that though, im not sure how long these shoes would last because of the cheaper quality. i would definitely go to find shoes to wear for one day special events.
other than the shoes it was very clean and organized inside! there's a small parking lot outside, i went when it was sort of busy and parking is...
