Very upsetting, all the extra charges that should be included with the nightly rate. They charge $35 a night to self-park in a parking lot about a block and a half away, across the street. They also don't offer breakfast like many other hotels that cost less. Lastly, no beach umbrellas or chairs, $40 a day to rent. Our hotel room was about 1/4 Mike away from the lobby, and the communication of the people at the front desk is horrible. Literally felt scammed with all these hidden fees, so I asked to get a refund so I can go to another hotel but they told me absolutely not, that I would have to contact the 3rd party I initially called. I told them I called Hilton directly to book but they said that's what I thought I did. That I had gone through a 3rd party without even knowing it. I guess that's their way of shuffling responsibility to someone else so they don't have to deal with their disappointed customers. They clearly don't care about getting return customers because once you're booked they start laying down the extra charges for anything besides sleeping in the bed. They don't tell you where your elevator is for your room, and they don't tell you that you need to use your room key to activate the elevator to move up to your floor. I literally had to figure it out with the help of another patron, and I had I help other patrons because they were clueless why the elevator won't work. You know, the hotel was kinda run down with cracked everywhere and worn out carpet areas. Doesn't bother me really but I mean, if you advertise as a quality hotel, then live up to it. The pool was nice and the other workers were polite. Just the front desk were kind of obnoxious. Save yourself the trouble and find a smaller hotel that includes breakfast, parking and beach chairs/umbrellas.

Stayed at the Hilton Daytona Beach and found the overall experience to be below the standard typically associated with the Hilton brand. The building and furnishings are noticeably old and in need of significant updates. While the service was generally okay, it fell short of the high expectations set by the Hilton name. The food and beverage facilities themselves were underwhelming in terms of variety and ambiance. However, the food and beverage staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, which made a positive difference. The breakfast buffet was very satisfactory, offering a good range of options and well-prepared dishes. The pool area also did not meet expectations. it could use both aesthetic and functional improvements. That said, there were a few standout positives. The valet and bell desk staff were fast and welcoming, and the reception team was helpful and courteous throughout our stay. The ocean view from the room was stunning, although the experience was somewhat marred by unclean exterior glass. The location has great potential, but the surrounding area and the hotel itself would greatly benefit from thoughtful renovations and updates. With some investment and attention to detail, this property could truly match the quality expected from a beachfront Hilton resor

Staying here for a conference and do not recommend it. Hotel is humid, literally every surface is damp due to issues with the A/C. Breeding ground for mold and mildew. When I got to my room, all the mirrors and windows were fogged over because of how damp it is. Multiple elevators are broken so it's a long wait to get to and from your room. The TV in my room didn't work and the rooms are barely furnished. It's beyond the minimalism that other hotels have gone to post COVID. No coffee maker or coffee. Sink doesn't drain. And all the carpets in the rooms and conference centers are horribly stained. Hotel is 10 years overdue for a remodel. Not at all up to Hilton standards. Also, don't expect to be able to go to the beach because beach access is closed since the storms have washed away all the beach and the waves now crash into the seawall/sidewalk in front of the hotel. Parking is either $40 valet or $30 self parking 2 blocks away in an unsecured, dark lot that had multiple damaged cars, a knocked down fence, and non-hotel guest loitering and drinking.

The staff at the lobby, the Rico's restaurant , at the souvenirs store and buffet were really friendly and attentive, overall the experience was very nice..the hotel location is amazing, the views breathtaking. the issues with my room and the "MANAGER" BROOKE were endless , our 4 rooms were messy and dirty. my room had the bath sink and shower clogged , they fixed the shower but the sink was clogged the hole time we were there, it was a nightmare, they do not answer their phones,, after 2 phone calls they took a very long time to send someone to apparently fix the issue. When the guy was done he let us know that the problem was solved I opened the faucet and the sink was still clogged, that night was late and .I did not want to complain anymore afterwards "I was on vacation" I was not sure what to say anymore ..but the very next morning I reported the same problem over the phone to the same "MANAGER, Brooke" but once more nothing was fixed instead she gave us a credit of $100.00 it was irracional that this happens don't you think?.they need to give some love to the facility. Part of my family including a new born and an elderly couple were trapped in the elevator #2.. and it took longer than desired for them to answer the phone, I was the one that call zero from my room to make the report after my niece called me panicked from the elevator. They need to do some maintenance.. the staff was great but management did not know how to solve a problem or even better to avoid problems..instead she decided to use money for us to remain quite...Brooke never faced me..she told her staff that she was busy. Hilton disappointed me, we were renting a total of 4 rooms with a new born and all they needed to do was to clean the rooms properly and fix any problems before guests check-in ...please respect your guesses remember that you are not doing us a...

We went for anniversary weekend starting Friday till Monday. We didn’t know there was a CrossFit competition across the street all weekend. So there were alot of people staying there from Thursday till Monday. They had only 2 elevators working when we checked in. But that changed to only 1 elevator was working. You had people checking with their things and the people coming back with their wagons with their stuff and families with babies in strollers trying to get to their rooms. You could wait up to a hour to get on the elevator. Some families went down 6 flights of stairs with babies in stroller and their wagon to get to competition on time. NOT SAFE AT ALL The air conditioning wasn’t working enough to cool rooms many also complained in the elevators regarding this. No microwave in the rooms and very small refrigerator. Balcony that was a JOKE you could open door but barely stand on it no sitting on it but paid extra for it. Beside your room rate you were charged resort fee of additional 25.00 that was never discussed at the booking time. And some were told you had no choice but to valet park their self parking was full an additional fee of 40.00 per day. During 1 afternoon it rained and they had totes out in lobby to caught rain coming through roof and towels down on the floor. No adjusting fees for all these things to help with the complaints! We did ask for a manager to call us regarding all of this but haven’t gotten one as yet! So before you stay there you may need to ask lots of questions so you can enjoy your stay. They really need to do major work on this hotel and the rates you pay are unreal for this. We have never stayed...
