Stayed two nights here. The hotel is set up weird but got used to it pretty quick. Ground floor is hotel front desk for doubletree several restaurants(which we didnt try) and the casino. Double tree was our hotel and it shared a pool and hot tub with springhill suites at the end of the building. U had to take ur key to springhill to activate it but after that u could come and go during the hours as u pleased. It was a very nice hotel but be prepared for road construction out front. Sometimes it was congested sometimes it was easy to get in and out. Depended on the time of day. The road construction wont be going away anytime soon from what the front desk guy told us. The room was a 2 room suite with a pull out in the main room and a king in the bedroom. The pullout couch is a thin mattress just so u are aware. So good for a kid but probably not for an adult. Overall i would recommend this hotel and casino. Oh and u pay for parking 15 a day. But u get a blue card when u check in that has discounts on it. U show that at the casino desk and they put 15 free casino play per day of stay on ur casino card which u get there too. U can get it for table play instead if u prefer. Also download the app for the casino. When we did that we got 15 more free play from the app for downloading it and signing in and u go the desk and show them and they add...

“ I had high hopes for my upcoming stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, my experience so far has been quite disappointing. Right from the beginning, there were issues with my reservation, requiring multiple phone calls just to get it correct.

To make matters worse, I had marked on my calendar to call by July 1 if any room cancellations were needed. However, when I called on June 7 to cancel one room, I was informed that the cutoff date was actually June 1. While I understand that I may have made an error with the date, I was only a few days past the deadline. Despite the hotel knowing that the room would be filled tomorrow, they still charged me over $700.

I can't help but feel dissatisfied with this situation. I understand the importance of adhering to policies, but considering the circumstances, it would have been greatly appreciated if the hotel had shown some flexibility. Now, I'm left out of pocket for over $700.

Based on my experience so far, I can't say that I would recommend this hotel. I hope that they can improve their communication and customer service in...

We loved the size of our handicap junior suite and the property itself was very nice. Having booked a handicap room because my wife is permantely in a wheelchair and cannot walk, we were not happy that the heavy bathroom door kept closing completely shut by itself. She in her wheelchair could not get that door open and had to rely on me to open the door for her. We have NEVER had any hotel bathroom door that closed itself. We bought a bottle of whiskey to use as a doorstop. The kleenex box was empty, minor. When I got into the shower and was soaking wet, i found out the solid green color shampoo dispenser was empty. You cannot see thru it so I did not know there was no shampoo. Room 339, if you care to tell the maid she needs to check for refills. I was NOT a happy camper and had to get out of the shower wet without washing my hair. Staying at your property Doubletree, gambling, eating in your restaurants, and you CHARGE for parking !!! I have never EVER paid to park at a casino and especially while staying there.|You really eek every last dollar. I was...

The casino I think is probably the best of Deadwood Casinos. It's got a food court inside which is convenient. The hotel itself is a maze. It's connected to Tru and it's hard to get around if ur on the 3rd or 4th floor. There is only a certain elevator to take you up. Otherwise you had to walk around. And no free breakfast for the doubletree folks but the cheaper Tru you can get a free breakfast. The rooms were stylish well planned out. But the rooms were not well cleaned. Not disgusting but not what you expect from this level of hotel. We never got a vacuum until the second day. The staff looked like they were still in high school. But overall the good outweighed the bad.

Exceeded my expectations! I don’t normally write reviews but wanted others to know the hotel was clean, non-smoking (there is a smokers lounge), the food was amazing (it really was!), and the staff was great. It’s a short drive or trolley service away from Main Street Deadwood so it’s quiet. We had a suite with an amazing view (the hotel photos don’t do the view justice) and ate at FLYT for breakfast and dinner. The food was surprisingly fresh and very well prepared with staff being very attentive and pleasant. We would definitely come back.

We stayed at this location with the goal of visiting Mount. Rushmore. After looking at nearby cities, we considered it the safest option which is nothing to brag about when looking at the statistics. Regarding the hotel, it's relatively cheap, very clean, staff was friendly, a variety of food options, and had easy access to gambling if you're into that. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.
