Float Atlanta - Float Therapy and Massage — Attraction in Decatur

Yesterday I had my very first float therapy session. It was by far the most amazing and restoring experience I’ve ever had in my life . On average I have 5 hours of sleep per week . I’ve tried a number of sleep remedies both medical , herbal and otherwise . Some supplements have offered some assistance in my sleep but none have ever been as effective and fast reacting as floating . I stepped into the water and instantly felt physical relief which surprisingly triggered mental relief . My body was able to disconnect and so were the parts of my mind that sent the signals to my body to overload and overthink. Taking that stress out of the equation made it so simple to rest all of me and enjoy this amazing phenomenon . As I was floating I was able to meditate which is something I’ve always struggled with due to my mind running on a thousand. The peaceful music and the water and its components put me in the most relaxed and soothing state of ever been in . Once the music stopped and the lights went out I was eased into a state of just . Just floating , just relaxing , just quietly meditating . I’ve never been able to sleep in places that were not my bed and even then sleep was difficult to achieve . This almost instantly put me to sleep . The floating along offered healing I didn’t think I could receive but the successful sleep I was able to fall into in this water was so incredible I felt instant gratitude for the experience . My biggest fear has always been water so I had no idea that it be comforting or even that I’d sleep in it . All the troubles I thought would exist were eliminated once I released myself to the water . It was truly an outer body experience . It’s now 2:40 PM and I’ve only been up for a few minutes . I slept a full uninterrupted 10 hours of sleep and I’ve not completed a full sleep cycle in months and this is all just after one float session . I cannot wait to float regularly , literally so I am going back again ! The experience was amazing and gave more than was even expected and suggested . The service was unmatchable before and after . I was thoroughly educated on floating , it’s history and it’s abilities and I was not at all disappointed . I was given everything I needed to experience it fully and was greeted warmingly and had an amazing conversation afterwards ! The lobby was even calming !!! I’m normally not one to leave a review but I’d be doing many a disservice if I did not share this amazing experience in detail . If you were considering it there’s literally nothing to contemplate , highly recommended !!! If you’re looking to gain there’s so much given out of this experience . The prices and deals are also unmatchable so this location and company specifically is the one you should go to . So very pleased with my overall experience !!! Looking forward to...

I was looking forward to my visit to Float Atlanta, but my experience was disappointing due to poor communication and logistical issues. When I booked over the phone, I was told that my gift card for two treatments would cover both of my treatments. However, when I arrived, the owner denied saying this and attempted to charge me for one of the treatments I was told would be covered by my gift card when I booked.

Additionally, I called ahead to let them know I was running behind due to having the incorrect address and was told, “Okay, we’ll see you when you get here.” I arrived 14 minutes delayed, but after my 1st treatment, it was exaggerated and I was told I arrived 30 minutes late, and my treatment was changed from the open-air room to a pod without my consent, which was disappointing and frustrating since that is not what I originally booked. The owner tried to convince me to undergo my treatment in the pod room instead of the room I booked, but I did not accept this because this is not what I booked and I did not want to be in the closed-in pod.

When I initially scheduled the website said expect a confirmation call within 24 hrs. Never got it. Called myself to confirm. Didn't really care for the attitude over the phone as she explained the Process. When the day came I scheduled for 2 my plus one was late. I woke up that am with an ear ache. I wanted to possibly reschedule. Didn't want a refund as I am aware of 24 hr cancelation. She said they don't do that as well as no refunds with the same nasty attitude. Also my appointment was for noon I was there on time however she was running behind schedule. But couldn't accommodate me with a reschedule, but I can sit and wait on her. Please. Clearly so upon telling her I had to leave she insisted no refunds. I again had to remind her I never once asked for a refund. I told her to keep the money as a donation since she Clearly was only concerned about that. Then the next day I get a email saying that I would be refunded for one credit. Also it said credits were usable until November. Soooo why couldn't she reschedule. Wouldn't want it now anyway. I still have not received my one refund.
