American Nail Salon & Bar Euless — Attraction in Euless

I went and got my nails done as a birthday present from my mom, who is a regular there. The nail tech, Jimmy, was in a hurry and when he was done with my nails, he didn’t give me the same service my mom paid for me that she got- arm and hand massage.

My mom is a regular. She goes there so much, they know her by name and even I’ve gone there three or four times and the owner remembered my boyfriend’s name which I was very impressed. The owner is extremely nice. She has manners, but Jimmy on the other hand, not only didn’t say OK bye, he didn’t even massage my arms and hand so I was left there looking at my mom and her nail tech Angela apparently Jimmy and Angela are dating. That’s why they were talking about us in Vietnamese and when I asked if they were talking about us in Vietnamese Jimmy, nod his head and SAID yes. You know at that time I was laughing because I can take a joke. I hate being in public because I have social anxiety and because of people that have no manners or people that treat you a certain way or people who want to gossip about you and people who just ready to get the heck out of there after doing your nails; makes you feel a certain way…. Like you were an annoyance.

We even gave both of them a good tip. The first week after these nails were done the thumb that you see started shipping the first week at my new job! Then four days ago, my middle fingernail just chipped off when I was trying to get my keys out of of the purse. They weren’t even busy that Friday. It was so dead there was literally only three other customers besides me and my mom. They were dead. The only person that asked us if we want anything to drink was the lady at the front desk. It was not Jimmy, Angela asked my mom, but Jimmy couldn’t give two cares.

Don’t see Jimmy and I’m never going there again. I called this morning and spoke to the front desk guy named Hugh, who is very rude as well. I explained what happened and his whole tone was monotone lacking complete empathy. All I was explaining was what happened I wasn’t being rude and until he started laughing at me when I asked him you don’t know when your manager is gonna be back. Yes I hear she’s sick. OK, but does she have an email? He says no. He was very robotic. No the only person there who has customer service skills is the person who’s out sick Myra or Maya excuse me, but she’s very nice. She definitely cares about her customers. If there were more people like her I would definitely be going back And now my mother who’s been going there for years says she’s not going back there anymore either.

So y’all can kiss having a loyal customer like Liz and I was gonna go back there again again, but I’m definitely not after today so now I have to find a way to get these crappy nails off my hands and go to CVS and get some stick on before I go to work tomorrow don’t ever go to...

This place is understaffed, they have bad customer service and the products they use for dipping powder is cheap. After getting my real nails dipped, the color chipped off on seven of my nails three separate times within the first two weeks. None of my nails actually broke or chipped. The entire color came off. I have strong nails and this has never happened to my nails before where the product comes off but my nails do not break. While I was getting my first two nails fixed, there was a lady yelling across the room that someone else (I didn’t hear) had been complaining she wanted her nails done and no one had addressed her. The owner looked back to hear but did not address the issue or even seemed to care. The very next day the color came off on two other nails but I couldn’t come in until the the weekend. The second fine I went to get my nails fixed again, I stood at the counter waiting for someone again. This time it was about 10 minutes of standing there awkwardly as all the nail techs and customers stared at me. Both of the seats in the waiting area were already taken. I was finally addressed and asked to take a seat with no estimated time and with nowhere to sit, I awkwardly sat myself at a massage chair and waited. This is when I observed that things aren’t very organized here. After waiting sometime and never being checked up on, I got up and walked out. Surely they wouldn’t make me wait about two hours until the other two people in front of me got their nails done before I could get mine fixed right? It sure seemed like they wouldn’t have minded. Overall, I will not be going back to this place because the customer service is lacking, wait times are long because of staffing, and cheap products. Can I give 0 stars? I’ve been here about 6 times now. The first couple times I was pretty satisfied, but the recent few have been horrible! I kept going back assuming it was a fluke, but the last time I went made me never want to go back. I went with a few friends, one of which was getting married the next day. We called and made appointments days ahead of time and I asked for Tony like I always do. The manager said the time we picked was fine and Tony would be there. Not only was he not even on the schedule, we waited 1.5 hours before anyone started! I don’t understand how other people were going before us when we made appointments. I went up to her multiple times and asked when we could get started, and she kept saying “you’re next”. I could hear her taking calls and watch her seat people telling them there was no wait. Eventually, she stopped making eye contact with me and kept avoiding me when I would ask to talk to her. Whoever did my dip nails did an awful job! It all chipped and broke off within a few days. The worst part, the brides nails were a joke! The nail technician kept nicking her and he put large gaps in between her pink and white French nails. You could tell they were just rushing to get us out. I mentioned multiple times that she was getting married the next day hoping they would do a better job. She ended up having to go to a different nail salon the next morning. 4 hours spent there just to get a pedicure and dip. Never returning again.
