So grateful this Flagstaff staple is still with us after the worst of the pandemic. It maintains a strong tradition of trying to make community theater both accessible and taking it very seriously. Their recent 2-part production, The Laramie Project, and The Laramie Project, 10 Years later was a great example of this. It was ambitious, powerful, heartbreaking, very well done, intimate and still very much community theater with all its perfect imperfections. It was also very poorly attended. Which may or may not have been a loss for the production but it was definitely a loss for the community to have missed out on. I am not a regular to Theatrikos. I wish I made it out more. We just saw 'The Play That Goes Wrong' and it was amazing; so well acted, spontaneous, hilarious, and athletic. This troop is fantastic and yes, a gem of Flagstaff. The last one I saw for young kids was SpongeBob the Musical. The last one I saw for older students was Oklahoma. There are volunteer opportunities where you can learn how to operate tech.
