Where do I start. First off overpriced ticket $150 round-trip from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale driving would’ve caused half that money and gas but oh well I took a chance first then ordered a ticket and realized I had made a mistake and tried to refund it. Little to find out that there is no refund policy whatsoever, and Brightline only does credits. So now I am stuck with an extra ticket for a train that has already caused me this many problems. Then I go into boarding and I’m waiting for a family in front of me with a ticket. Everybody is scanning going through. I scanned my ticket and it does not go through. Supposedly, it had turned exactly 5 minutes too as I was scanning my ticket to go into the gate I turned around and told the guy hey what’s going on my ticket not going through the family in front of me went through. He said oh yeah it’s pass boarding time. The clock must’ve changed. I said well I was just putting my ticket down waiting for the family in front of me. He said oh too bad you have to take the next train. I looked at him as if he was joking and started smiling thinking he would just open the gate. He was dead serious. I had to go to guest services and get another train pass for an another train an hour later. I truly couldn’t believe it. There was me and another girl at the exact same time putting our boarding passes when the clock struck 4:55 AM train boarding at 5 AM. I simply just couldn’t believe it. Not only will. I never be traveling on the bright line again, but I urge all customers and patrons to highly read everything before signing or paying for anything they’re printed small prints are super scam related, and the customer service is awful. I was appalled that the guy didn’t let me and the other girl through as we were literally putting down our ticket as the clock turned, causing us to miss our train. I could not believe it never never never save your money. Do not travel with...
Read morePeople often rave about train service in Europe, but after experiencing Brightline, I can confidently say it surpasses any train I've taken in Europe by far.
From start to finish, my journey was nothing short of exceptional. The stations, both at departure and arrival, were spacious, modern, bright, and impeccably clean. The first-class lounges were thoughtfully designed and truly elevated the experience.
On my departure from Fort Lauderdale in the morning, I was greeted with a well-appointed lounge offering a breakfast selection that rivaled the continental breakfasts of many hotels. There was plenty of comfortable seating with USB power outlets, making it easy to relax or get work done while waiting.
The train itself was a delight. It was brand-new, spotlessly clean, and remarkably quiet. The seating was spacious, with large, comfortable seats and ample legroom. The serene environment allowed me to work comfortably during the ride—a rare treat on public transportation.
My return trip in the early afternoon from Miami continued to impress. The Miami station was even larger and more impressive than Fort Lauderdale, featuring the same high standards of cleanliness and design. The first-class lounge served light hors d'oeuvres along with complimentary beer and wine, further enhancing the premium experience. Once again, the train was pristine and the seating was just as comfortable as before.
Brightline delivered a flawless experience that redefines what train travel should be. The combination of luxury, comfort, and efficiency puts even Europe's renowned train services to shame. Amtrak, and certainly Romania's Căile Ferate Române, could learn a great deal from Brightline's example.
I can't wait to ride Brightline again—it has set a new gold standard for train...
Read moreHorrible experience I've encountered unpleasant experience previously from one of the front counter agents. And I didn't allow it to effect my overall experience and decided to give Brightline another try and this time I had both my children with me (toddlers). And I am at full disappointment with my experience as far as the booking and the front desk agent, I was seated separately from my children. I had paid for premium tickets they had over booked the train because of an error they had yesterday, they couldn't offer me anything other then a later train ride which was 3 hours from the time we were waiting/at the station. I don't believe I would give brightline another try from the prices being sky high to the over all experience and customer service. If I were traveling alone and had experienced this horrible experience for the second time I feel like I would have been somewhat okay, but to go through all of this with luggage and 2 kids overall it was unsettling. I will say there was one guy I wish I had gotten his name to send out an email about his job performance and overall customer service he was probably the only good part of brightline, I hope moving forward they hire people more like him and they keep him around and advance his role for a higher position. If I am very at Fort Lauderdale and nearby the train station I will try and retrieve his information because he does deserve the recognition for his out standing support...
