GO TO THE KIOSK REPAIR INSTEAD!! Go to the KIOSK repair instead: wireless gear by Master Gadgets The Kiosk is cheaper, uses authentic parts (not aftermarket), lets you watch them repair your device, and has better customer service. I was very nice to Vladamir (Vlad) at iFixandRepair and at first he was nice to me too. My back glass was broken and my battery needed to be replaced. He quoted me at $270 but said he can reduce my rate to $240; from there I talked him down to $210 and we agreed on this price. I then went to the kiosk to ask their opinion on the price. They showed me the differences in the types of repairs they do, the kiosk used much nicer parts and charged $199 with actual repair work. So i went back to Vlad within 10 min of dropping my phone off and he refused to give it back without paying $50 for "labor" despite the fact that no labor had been done yet and they refused to let me see if any labor had been done yet. I waited for them to "fix" my phone which had a battery replace. But when I went to use it the camera was distorted and it showed something was wrong with the camera in the settings area. They were not supposed to touch my camera. Also, the battery, supposedly new, was only at 20%. They said it would be fully fixed if I updated the phone, though it was fully updated when I gave it to them. When I got it back it wasn't on the latest update and they said I would have to pay and go home and charge it and update it to see if the phone was working properly, but this would mean I'd have to sign off on the repair and not be able to get a refund if it wasn't working. I asked them to just undo the work they did and give me a refund and my phone back broken. They said no. A police officer happened to be standing near the store. I asked the police officer to assist me as I felt defrauded. Detective Hoover escorted me back to the store. I showed her why I felt defrauded and she assisted in questioning Vlad with me and she went to the back of the store where they would not let me previously. She waited with me until they gave me a full refund. I got my refund, but they forced me to sign a waiver to get my money back. Then they handed me my phone back with my old battery outside of the phone and my phone with no battery inside (completely empty) and with the back smashed. That was somewhat what I asked for, so that was fine, but they also threw the shattered glass in my hand and said take that too. The repair man and Vlad were wholly unprofessional and lied to me repetitively. I am glad to get a refund but wish I started at Mohammed's kiosk in the same mall. Go to Master Gadgets kiosk in...
Read moreI’m not a fan of bashing anybody’s establishment but I had to express my opinion about this business. The customer service experience was good but I cannot say the same for the products. I broke my phone and frantically ran to the apple store when they took forever I decided to just walk over to the T-Mobile store i explain the situation about my crack screen to the representative and he decided to take me to the store across from T-Mobile that fixes broken screens. I was a little skeptical at first but I just went it and the owner was really kind and understanding now he told me he was unsure if the screens he had would work on my phone because it was was not the latest screen but he would try and if it didn’t he would just take it off and not charge me I was fine with that. After waiting he put the new screen on and it did work the owner stated I would have to return to the store due to the screen not being updated and would place a new screen on so a week later I return he stated I did not need to change the screen and just updated my phone and I was on my way. A few days later I started having issues like half my screen not working and things being pressed without me pressing a button. When I called the owner stated I could come in but when I would come into the store the problem would not happen in his face and the phone would work fine. To make a long story short I return to the store one additional time I was again told to just update my phone but I’m still having issues with the phone I can’t even talk on it without it being on speaker and the screen itself keeps popping up. I’m basically screwed because I had it replaced and it’s not an official iPhone screen I cannot go through the insurance to have it replaced. I feel like the owner should of honored his word and replaced my screen with the correct updated iPhone 8 screen and if he didn’t have the part then he should of just let me find another store but he just wanted the sale and now I’m stuck with a half...
Read moreIn April I had spent 350$ to repair my laptop leaving it in their hands with my case. The problem was internal not bothering to look twice at the exterior parts of my laptop... Ever since I received my laptop I left the case I had on it and saw how damaged it was from the repair and decided to buy a new one but had to save up for one since I'm a college student who already spent alot to fix my laptop. I took it upon myself to look the other way on the case but realized today I have a big noticeable dent on the bottom right corner of my laptop where the apple logo is at and was shocked once I saw it. My laptop has been having issues and I plan on bringing it in soon since I have the one year warranty. I wouldn't suggest to come here to fix your items since they can careless about your property and care more about the money on their end. I also included a tip out of generosity but regret it since my laptop even though it was fixed in the process came with exterior damage that was never brought to my attention until months later of choosing to...
