The Fort Lauderdale Florida Galleria Mall is smaller than other Malls which makes it relaxing and free to walk and check other retailers including Macy’s the Anchor Store along with Dillards. Neiman Marcuse closed its door in 2021 maybe due to COVID plus they are to Expensive for most of us regular working or retired now native from Cold Weather Philly.
Although I do miss Spring and Fall the changes of the Four Sessons - but up in the Northeastern part of America it gets So Cold yet the Snow is Beautiful and Yet the Beach in Fort Lauderdale is also beautiful and Always nice weather Always !!!
We live in Shorts and Tank Tops 95% of the Year which is So Freeing and Healthy if you have Arthritis
We have Cleveland Clinics as well in Weston, West Palm and others.
The warmer weather gives me More Joy than the gray wet days of Philadelphia when I hesitated to get out of the house and in the Cold Card unless it were Spring, Summer or Fall is the prettiest!
A nice drive on a winding road with the Top Down up to New Hope or Peddlers Village or even farther north on a Beautiful Fall Crisp Day with someone you Love.
I Absolutely recommend South Florida if you prefer warm weather and it really Doesn’t get as Humid on the East Coast as it does in Philly during the Summers.
I’ve been told that One Thousand People Every Day move to Florida? There have been at least a Dozen High Rise Buildings been built in the past year be they Apartments or Condos in Fort Lauderdale..
In Los Olas part of Fort Lauderdale we have The New River Walk that is completely finished and Stunning to walk and eat and boat or paddle or kaiayk or walk your dog. It’s absolutely Gorgeous in the Sun or the Warm Rain which is usually at night anymore !
I Don’t want the Galleria Mall to close ever and we definitely need more Flea Markets and have plenty of Thrift Stores for everyone!
I’m rambling on this Beautiful Sunday Morning having coffee on our outside screened on Patio thinking about going to a flea market or vegetable outdoor market in Wilton Manors a predominantly Gay Expensive City right in Fort Lauderdale although it’s a separate city you wouldn’t know it.

Read moreI went to this mall for the first time because I had an appointment for a facial at D'OR 24K Prestige (the same owner as "Beyond the soap beauty bar" on a different floor). I had the worst experience that anyone could receive. First they do not give a professional facial they only try to sell you products for thousands of dollars. The woman that came in to my room never introduce herself, never pulled my hair back with a band, never put a towel on my neck. All she wanted is to sell me some products that started at 9000.00 than went down to a final price of 4000.00 I did not buy anything but I walked out with cream all over my shirt and my hair. Than she had the nerve of altering a picture that she took of my face and told me that all my lines disappeared. I spoke to the manager Mr. Yan at the desk and asked who was that women,(her name is Monica) and showed him the way she put the cream all over me. He apologizes so much and offered me 2 free facials. I tried looking on line to see if this place does give facials and nothing comes up. They pull you in and tell you, you get a facial but all along they only want you to buy their products, its all a big HOAX (malicious deception). They have other locations at - 702 E Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I wish I new who the owner is . This is a luxury mall they should look...
Read moreThe Galleria is highly rated on some websites I resarched such as Tripadvisor. However yelp gave it 4 stars and if I could give it 3.5 I think I would . But I think I have to give it a 3 star rating as I will explain.
The thing is the mall itself is really unique because its very "linear" feeling. As in, it continues in one long hallway that has multiple "up and down" spots where the mall changes elevation. In contrast to other malls where they branch off in like 4 different directions. So this Galleria mall is easier to navigate but I think it lacks some choice stores and some of the "mall feeling".
I like that the parking areas are named after fruits so that it is easier to remember than "C5" for example. Also there is a lot of empty space in the mall itself near plum parking area. This only makes the mall feel more "dead". If you park in that lot, you'll see what I mean when you go into the mall.
I will say we came on a Sunday afternoon about 1.5 hours before closing and so our experience will be different than others. However I still feel fully capable of giving a quality review. We walked the whole mall, plus food court. Give the mall a shot, but perhaps...
