Taft Lake Walking Trail — Attraction in Fort Snelling Unorganized Territory

This park is great! Walking the path around the pond is absolutely beautiful. They have a fishing dock and kayak/canoe launching dock. I have never used them myself but you can rent kayaks or canoes there as well, think it is done through the 3 Rivers website (instructions are at the pond). The ice rink and basketball courts are well kept and the playground is a good size for younger children. Now For The Bad. It is directly under the end of a flight path so depending on the time of day you will frequently have airplanes fly so close above you that you can not hear yourself yelling. So So Very Noisy!!
