I highly recommend this gym! I moved to the area last summer, and wanted something closer, more affordable, and not as big or busy of a gym, and this was exactly what I was looking for. From equipment to bathrooms and showers, it has everything I need. I remember when I first signed up, they made me feel very welcomed and asked about my fitness goals and seem like they genuinely care and are here for support. The manager is great and wants to make sure you’re taken care of. They also do check ins, discussing fitness goals, and just check in overall how I’m doing which makes me feel cared for and not just another member walking in the door, which I have not experienced at other gyms. They offer training classes, one on one coaching, nutrition, and more, and they aren’t pushy at all, again, different from other gyms I’ve been a member of. The other gym members are all kind, considerate, and not judgmental and just focused on their workout. Even though I don’t talk to many people here, I’m just focused on my workout, in and out, I still feel very taken care of and they give off a good vibe. 10/10...
Read moreThe space and equipment itself are fine but the business practices here are one-star worthy. I signed up because I needed access to equipment to finish my rehab following an achilles tear. My workouts and regimen were being guided by my PT, and I told AF that when I signed up. They still only told me about the membership options with coaches and with 18 month terms despite me being clear I was looking for short term and didn't need guidance. It wasn't until I requested a copy of my contract (which they are legally obligated to share immediately after signing, not only at request) did i see that there were multiple other (much cheaper) options more in line with what I was looking for.
I finished my rehab and went to cancel my membership (which they wouldn't accept my cancellation via email despite state statute) and when i was signing the form the same AF employee who tried to upsell me says "so you're just gonna quit?" Hugely unprofessional attempt to guilt trip or shame me into staying at the gym.
If you're going to sign up for this gym make sure you are aware of their business practices...
Read moreI've been a member of anytime since 07, managed a handful of clubs myself for years and really stand behind the brand. Aaron does a great job keeping the gym clean and inviting for all. My only knock is the fact classes are ran in the open/trx area during peak times, which forces anyone who wants to do body weight, trx or any other type of exercise besides lifting and cardio to be in any other spot they can manage and causes some crowding, which leads to the inability to use other equipment. Unless I go there on weekends I am kind of forced to do a repetitive type of workout with whatever equipment I'm able to use, that isn't being occupied by a phone squatter or super setter. Most of the time I cut my lifting short because I can't sit around and wait for equipment that is being squatted on, especially after a long day at work and a baby waiting for me at home. So that unfortunately cuts my workouts here to once or twice a week. Keep up the great work Aaron, it's hard to find people who are passionate about their work and continue to put 100%...
