This is my first time leaving a google review but after my terrible experience today, I feel obligated to share. First I want to say this was not my first negative experience at this particular salon. I have been to several other boardroom salons around DFW, Atlanta, and Oklahoma City and my experiences are usually very positive with pleasant service and a good quality haircut. This is why I have been a loyal customer and decided to give this particular salon the benefit of the doubt after my first negative experience, as after my move, this is now the closest one to my home.
My experience started as usual with the receptionist asking what I wanted to drink. I said “a water bottle and coffee would be great”. They did not have any paper cups to make a coffee, and didn’t seem to care when I pointed it out. I thought it odd to run out of coffee cups, but didn’t mind much. Next, the haircut started off as usual, but when we got to the side burns, I mentioned that last time, after I left I noticed they were very lopsided. My wife agreed, and said “they butchered it again?… why do you continue to go back there and spend that kind of money for this?”… well gentlemen, listen to your ladies.
After I tried to give feedback to prevent another haircut I have to fix when I get home, my stylist said that I was “rude and condescending” in front of the whole shop to hear, followed by “we are done here”. She walked away, leaving me with half a haircut and hair all over me. How embarrassing… and unprofessional. I know that dealing with customers isn’t always easy, I use to wait tables and bartend, but you never treat a customer like that. It is not good for business, and it is an indecent thing to do.
The story is not over…
Next the General Manager had to come out and cut my hair. She did not ask what was wrong, or what could she do to help make the experience better. She rushed me through the rest of the hair cut and sent me on my way. No discount, no apology.
Well fellas, I am going to take my wife’s advice and find a new place to get my haircut. And...

Apparently I got drafted for the army and the boardroom got my papers before I did..or else why would they give me a buzz cut? I used to recommend this place to any and everyone but won’t be anymore. Before the lady began cutting my hair I specifically showed her how much I was wanting trimmed off of the top. I asked for less than half of an inch and for it to be thinned out since I have thicker hair than your average customer. When she started to cut my hair I didn’t realize how short she was going until it was too late. To give you and idea..my hair laying down before this cut would go down to my nose and now it won’t even touch my forehead. If you see me walking down the street, please don’t thank me for my services to this country…I am not a marine even though my haircut shows it. The worst part about all of this is that haircuts now-a-days are so expensive and it angers me to my core that I actually paid someone to do this to me. Luckily my hair will grow back but unfortunately I will be the laughing joke at my Christmas and New Years Eve gatherings. Hopefully Santa brings me a few hats this weekend…
Also, just to be as clear as I can be…I have the upmost respect for our troops and veterans so I apologize if my post offends or upsets anyone. It was not intended to do either of those things. Just wanted to paint a picture of how short my hair is now thanks to...
Read moreOur experiences there were dreadful. My partner and I are in town for an extended period of time for business reasons and decided to treat ourselves to some luxury spa/salon services. It was a mistake to go here for many reasons. First we called and made 2 appointments: one for me which was a deluxe haircut service and he ordered the presidential package. Appointments were confirmed and we got there early. He had his haircut and THAT WAS IT! They falsified the appointment and only booked him for a deluxe haircut service and nothing else which takes away from the value of the package. It was a misrepresentation because he may not have done it for the sole price. I had my deluxe haircut and the lady had a very hard time figuring out what i wanted but besides that she cut me with the electric clippers on the right side of my shoulder and I was bleeding! Then we went in yesterday to give them another chance and book this presidential package. They were unable to make the appointment because their massage therapist is on call and they have to coordinate. First of all they should disclose that on the menu. You should be able to book any service on the menu at any time! They took his name and phone number and FINALLY called back the NEXT DAY after the time he wanted the appointment. Dreadful. Thanks and happy...
