I ordered a sandwich from here today and liked it enough that I ordered again later this afternoon. I asked for extra ham and mayo. Both of which cost extra. $2 for mayo and nearly $4 for extra ham. The food comes and there is very little ham (3 tiny pieces) and no mayo. I'm a little frustrated because I paid extra for them so I call to let them know. Not trying to get a refund, just letting them know. The guy says okay send me a pic and I'll get you a refund. Great. I send the pic. This guy says he sees there's mayo on the sandwich and the third slice of ham is the extra. I say no, there is absolutely not mayo, anyone can see and taste when there's mayo and there's none and okay, if that one teeny tiny piece of ham was $4, fine, it's in no way worth it. He continues to argue with me refusing to accept that the mayo is not there. All he had to do was pretend just for a second that he cared that I wasn't happy. Obviously if I'm paying $2 for some mayo, I would hope I would be able to notice it's there. Even if some was put there but it's such a small amount I can't see or taste it, one would think, you'd say, oh I'm sorry it wasn't enough. But nope. Just gaslit me like I'm a crazy person. Unreal. I almost never complain but on the rare occasions I have, everyone has always been gracious and understanding. I have never been treated like this. Do not go here. The food is wildly overpriced and apparently they care more about appearing right than a...
Read morefranchise owner Miguel ineptitude in managing this small gem is blatantly evident. Lacking basic courtesy and people skills, it's disheartening to witness his disregard for the fundamental art of customer care. But amidst this, there is one employee young girl who is charming, pretty and immensely hospitable who single-handedly salvages the experience—making a visit worthwhile and is the only reason this place is worth even stoping by.
The picturesque setting and the artistry in food presentation, especially the Duck scenery, captivated me. Yet, regrettably, that's where the charm ends. The frozen, reheated donuts offer nothing but disappointment, their taste failing to match the grandeur of their appearance. Even a simple bagel with cream cheese comes at a price that defies reason, rendering it an unworthy indulgence.
While the coffee holds its ground, the exorbitant prices make even Starbucks seem like a haven of affordability with exponentially better quality.
Sadly, in a state that reveres the warmth of freshly baked, Texan-made bagels, the frozen imports fall drastically short. It's difficult to envision this place enduring in a Texan market that values authenticity and freshness.
For those craving an authentic bagel experience, I implore you to look elsewhere. Fort Worth boasts some stellar bagel spots, with Dans Bagel in Trophy Club reigning supreme. There, you'll find the epitome of what a true...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place, but my experience was frustrating from start to finish.
When I asked about the ingredients of a drink on the menu, the employee couldn’t tell me what was in it. I also asked about milk options and was charged $2 extra just for 2% milk, something I’ve never seen before.
The prices here are already steep (around $13–15 for a bagel sandwich), which would be fine if the customer service and quality matched.
Unfortunately, they don’t. My mom ordered a regular coffee and simply asked for a splash of milk. Instead, she was told she would have to buy a 12 oz cup of milk for $1, meanwhile my splash of 2% was $2. On top of that, they don’t offer real creamer, only powdered creamer, which feels unacceptable at a place charging $10 for coffee.
Small details really added up: they had no stir sticks, only straws (how is that “cheaper”), and when we ordered sides of eggs, they couldn’t even give us a fork, we had to eat them with a plastic knife.
The employees were harsh and dismissive, with zero warmth or gratitude for our business. Between the high prices, lack of basic hospitality, and bizarre policies, I would never recommend this place or return. Truly one of the worst customer service...
