Tanger Outlets Fort Worth — Attraction in Fort Worth

Last weekend we went to Tanger Outlets, Fort Worth. We were in the stores 35 minutes. When I came back to the car, someone had attempted to break in. In trying the attempted thieves caused severe damage to my window. Luckily it didn’t, break, luckily we didn’t interrupt them, luckily it wasn’t so much worse! However I feel everyone should know that this outlet mall doesn’t have cameras, and their security guard is worthless. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart, extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I made a report with the FWPD; however when I got a call from the investigator I was told there was nothing that could be done, because of the lack of security and the lack of help from the actual outlets themselves. According to the Investigator this kind of thing is frequent at Tanger Outlets, and unfortunately there’s never anything that can be done. I just want to warn people before they shop here that it could have been worse, and even if it were a bit more serious the likely hood of someone being prosecuted is slim to none. My only hope and purpose for this is that maybe they will at least put up cameras in the parking lot, to help protect people from unfortunate situations. I’ve emailed the GM of Tanger Outlets, however her response was vague! I received a $25 gift card in their hopes that I will return to their center soon! $25 for a $362.25 window, which has since been replaced! Thanks Tanger,...

I spent 1 and 1/2 hours picking out a large number of clothes in the Big and Tall section.

The associates were awesome!!! I asked the associate to hold my items. She was very nice and put all of the items on the counter behind her with a note listing to hold with my name on it. Harrison. It was 12:44 pm on Monday. I inadvertently left my card home but I live a few minutes away. I told the associate I would return shortly - please hold those items. I returned to the store before 3 pm the same day and the associate told me my clothes were put back by the Store Manager-Tom. Why would he put my clothes back? I asked to speak with Tom - he never came out to speak with me. The associates were very ind and said they would pull all the items again. At that point I was very frustrated. I said no thanks to them and left. I didn't have the patience to do it again. I will not help sales in this store. I will not return to this location. This really put a bad taste in my mouth. Very unprofessional -TOM. Your staff knew how to handle this situation better than you. Not good...

It is in the middle of nowhere, but this is Texas, so it's not a big deal. I didn't have a good experience. I felt uncomfortable and wasn't treated too well by employees of a different race than I am. They do have a nice affordable nike outlet, and if all the stores are like this, then you will get great deals with name brand companies. It is an outdoor mall, so go when weather permits. Met a nice stranger there. At first, I was nervous because of how I had just been treated, and he was an older gentleman who looked kind of mean as he seemed to stare whenever I spoke to my family. I wanted to speak to him to break the tension I felt, and also, I wanted to thank him for his military service but was nervous he would say something mean or scare my grandson. I decided to put my fears aside and spoke anyway, and it turned out he was a very kind soul with a wonderful sense of humor. I just wanted to mention that to say that you shouldn't judge people before you get to know them. Even if the individual looks like a person that may have hurt you, it is not that person, and everyone deserves a chance. ...
