Read moreI am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding Bloomingdale's late opening hours, specifically the fact that the store opens at 11 AM instead of regular hours like other stores. This practice is causing your esteemed establishment to miss out on potential business and inconveniencing customers like myself. Bloomingdale's has always been synonymous with exceptional quality, service, and style. As a loyal customer of your store for several years, I have come to expect a certain level of convenience and accessibility when shopping at Bloomingdale's. However, the decision to open at 11 AM, which is significantly later than most other stores, has proven to be a major inconvenience for many customers, including myself. The late opening hours have a significant impact on customers who have busy schedules and rely on the early morning hours to run errands and complete their shopping. Opening at 11 AM means that I, along with many other working professionals, cannot visit Bloomingdale's before starting our workday. This leaves us with limited options to browse and purchase items from your store, forcing us to either postpone our shopping or choose alternative retailers with more convenient hours.
Furthermore, the late opening hours also affect tourists and visitors to the city. Many tourists plan their itineraries around visiting prominent stores like Bloomingdale's, and the delayed opening simply disrupts their plans and may result in them choosing alternative shopping destinations. This not only creates a negative impression of Bloomingdale's but also leads to a loss of potential revenue and missed opportunities to showcase the store's offerings to a diverse customer base.
I understand that operating a department store of Bloomingdale's scale involves several logistical considerations. However, it is important to note that in today's competitive retail landscape, convenience and accessibility are key factors in attracting and retaining customers. Opening at 11 AM puts Bloomingdale's at a disadvantage when compared to other retailers who start their operations at earlier hours, allowing customers to make the most of their day.
Considering the significance of this issue, I kindly request that Bloomingdale's management reevaluates the current opening hours and seriously considers adjusting them to align with the regular operating hours of other retailers. By doing so, Bloomingdale's will not only demonstrate its commitment to customer satisfaction but also tap into a larger customer base, enhancing its reputation and profitability.
I trust that this matter will be given the attention it deserves, and I eagerly await a prompt response addressing my concerns. Thank you for your time and...
Read moreI had a horrible experienced on Monday going to this Bloomingdale location. Went in to exhange a gold diamond necklace that I got as a gift for my bday. Walked in nobody greet me. I had to asked for help. Sale person seem new and not really know about the product at fine watches area. Was looking for Michelle Watch band to replace, sale lady (she look asian) told me to order online. I asked can someone help put it on my watch if I order, she said you can you do that yourself. I think she think i have a tool at home or just pop/snap it in. Or maybe she meant take it to somewhere else like a watch store to put it in. You gonna spend over 1 k for the band but they can't put it for you?! Really?
Went to get perfume for a exchange and again nobody says hello to me. Bond #9 New York area associates were chi chating and nobody offer to help me, again I had to asked. Only person was helpful was at Jo Malone perfume area. But since they didn't have "orange bloom" so I left. She could of offer to order for me though guess she didn't want the sale.
Went across to Tom Ford area, lady associate seem busy with other customers so I helped myself trying out the scents at Do Son Eau De Toilette. Found one I liked and went to check out she said she can't ring me because she busy so she sent me to the next door register. Lady at this register was the worse one from all the associates I encountered while at the store. She gave me the biggest attitude when I said I have a exchange. This is what she sais "you should of tell me at the beginning now I have to cancel and redo everything" mind you it's only one item she ringing up. Then she open the box of the necklace and she said is this gold? Oh no I can't do this return you gotta take it over there to the fine jewelry department.
Now I'm back at the fine jewelry returning the diamond gold necklace into a giftcard. Lucky the transaction was smooth and easy. Now walking back to the perfume area to get my Do Son Eau De Toilette. She had a better attitude now that I returned and still want to buy the perfume. She didn't even say thank you or have a nice day when she hand me the bag.
I left feeling like why was this such a headache for something so simple as an exchange. Why am I being treated like that. I'm going to return this 3.4 Oz perfume because the lady who rang it up was so rude to me and the whole experienced there. I will never ever again step foot into this...
