I promise, I wish I could leave a negative star. My first, and last, experience with this particular AMC theater (and probably all AMC theaters until they make it right). I went to this theater on 11/11/16 for a particular movie; 12:30 pm showing of Kevin Hart's "What Now?" How about the movie didn't start until 1pm. No, I don't mean the previews caused the delay, the movie itself didn't start until 1 pm. You can set your watch by movie start times. Several people had to leave the theater to inquire as to what was going on, a staff member came in to extend her regrets, we told her to have the manager come on and that he should Bring in free passes for our inconvenience. She came back and told us that he would come in after he fixed the movie. The General Manager, Dante Wade, never came in to apologize for the inconvenience. At all. After the movie I located him to let him know that we were waiting for him to come in and apologize/earn back our business and he said he was busy. Ok, honestly there weren't more than about 30 or so people there and I'm being generous. He said he planned to catch us after the movie, but got busy again. He said he could offer us free popcorn and a free drink. I declined. There wasn't a bug in my drink, I was inconvenienced by the movie not starting on time. He said that he couldn't. Which is untrue as I've gotten passed from an AMC before due to a movie freezing in the middle of the show. I asked for the general manager's number, he said he was the general manager. I then asked for the regional manager and he told me he couldn't give out his boss' number. I asked form an email address and was told that it would just be routed back to him for him to give me a call and all he'd offer was the popcorn. I asked the. Value of the sofa and the popcorn and it was about $12. Our tickets were $8.50. I didn't understand. He wasn't remorseful at all. He didn't even care. I asked for the email address any way, he told me he had to get it from upstairs. I told him I'd wait. He walked from Behind the counter and walked around for a little bit only to come back to tell Me he couldn't get into the office because the door was locked. His manager had the key. He told me if I gave him my smart phone he would pull up AMC's website and direct me to the place to type in a form email. I proceeded to tell him how terrible of a Manager I thought he was and that I would not be giving him my cell phone. I told him I was leaving a negative review all over the Internet and my social media. He told me that was fine. I told him that I wouldn't be seeing any movies at AMC anymore, And I would be encouraging my friends not to patronize AMC any more either. Worst movie theater experience EVER! Terrible customer service from their General...

I've only been to this movie theater twice. The first time I went to this theater with my friends I had an average fun time without a problem: enjoyed the movie and ehhhhhed the food. However the second and the latest time I went to the theater, trying to watch Paper Towns in Stadium 8, there was just me and one friend. Checking to see if anyone else was there, my friend walks down the steps from where we settled and finds a little furry ball.... moving. She flashed her flashlight on her phone to jet back up the steps in panic. She thinks she saw a rat. Holding our feet up trying to hurry and finish the movie, 10 minutes later, I drop my phone and flash my friend's flashlight to find the same or another rat no more that 2 feet away from me. Me and my friend, Destiny, begin to run upon the folding chairs and jet down them steps. We told an employee who advises us to call or ride and after, tells the manager. The manager hands us each a signed "emergency ticket" saying come back anytime for any movie free. Our ride appears and after giving us a refund, the manager asks for our "emergency tickets" back. We give them back hoping for something back for the inconvenience but then the manager says "Here, we've given you what we owe you; a refund". The employees seemed totally against it but cannot argue against their boss. This cheapo Mr. Krabs had made up his mind so we left to later write a review. He states that we didn't get anything for the inconvenience because we had barely watched the movie and barely stayed in the theater to have time to be considered wasted. I rate this theater 2 stars. P.S. their food is bootleg and make their "sliders" in the microwave for 30 seconds but takes 3 minutes to be presented... bootleeeeeeeeeeeeeg P.P.S their ICEEs be 2/3 full, dat...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been speaking with Dairin Moore in group sales and Brindy Gonzalez in group sales as well for about two weeks now regarding the private theater rental. Now because I have done it before at this theater. I said Iāll do it again for my sonās birthday. They both inform me I can do a buyout with them, $500 for 1-75 ppl or private theater rental $249 for 1-20 people. Itās a kids birthday party so I just need for 11 kids and myself. Cool. They inform me that itās still the same policy for those, I have to wait until Wednesday of the weekend I want it for to book. Cool, no problem. I check from midnight until 2pm when I took a lunch break and they still hadnāt loaded their times, but the other AMC theaters had so I called them. The Hispanic guy there tells me I can do it for Shazam or another movie, (I forgot the second option he told me.) so I say perfect! Shazam is the one I wanted anyways. He then states, I would have to come in person to complete the booking. I get there and they tell me they canāt do it because itās too last minute. Like wtfff. Itās YOUR policy to wait h til Wednesday of that week. Itās even on the site. They call another guy who swears he doesnāt even know a person named Dairin. I then gave his full name and Brindy and all of a sudden he had to call Dairin to fix it. I waited an hour and wasted my lunch break for them still not to have the answer. SMH. Then the black guy with the curly was rude. I said, Iāll just purchase 20 tickets then and he caught an attitude, balled his lips and firmly...
