My husband and I took our 2 year old and 6 month old there and we had a really great time! It's a little garden right off of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, so if you're going alone it's nice to have a lot of people around but not feel like youre right in the middle of traffic. I think it's just the right size for little little people too to run around supervised but not in arms reach at all times. Just be aware of the Reedy River that runs through it. There are some steep drop offs and a bridge. We were able to entertain ourselves there for about 90 minutes before the toddler started to get too adventurous against her parental advice. Greenville City has done a really nice job keeping it neat and clean, so we didn't have any worries allowing our toddler and infant enjoy time in the grass. Went to get a drink out of water fountain and it was broke and loaded with ants all in the stainless steel bowl and water spout. My granddaughter almost put her mouth on it.
