Local Honey Coffee Company is an absolute gem, and has the best coffee in Greenville! From the moment you step inside, you feel that warm, inviting energy they’ve clearly worked so hard to create. Even when the place is bustling (and it often is!), it somehow feels calm and relaxed, like the perfect mix of cozy and vibrant.
Their menu is outstanding, and the attention to detail in both flavors and presentation is next level. The Ham and Brie Croissant is pure perfection—flaky, buttery, and filled with that perfect savory-creamy combo. The Greek Yogurt Bowl is as beautiful as it is delicious, packed with fresh toppings that make it feel like a treat and a healthy start all at once.
If you love matcha, this is your paradise. The Strawberry Matcha and Pineapple Coconut Matcha are refreshing, creative, and totally addictive. And then there’s the Corn Milk Latte—honestly one of the most unique and delightful drinks I’ve ever had! The combination of vanilla corn milk, almond orgeat, chipotle, and cacao extract (finished with a cherry!) sounds wild, but it works perfectly.
What really sets Local Honey apart is the atmosphere and their vision, it’s more than a coffee shop; it’s a space where coffee, art, music, and hospitality come together. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always makes you feel welcome.

Read moreI’m honestly blown away by this place. The Local Honey Company completely exceeded my expectations. I thought Greenville was just a small town, but this café could easily be in any big city, it’s that beautiful.
The space itself is stunning. Every corner feels intentional, cozy, and bright. The music is at the perfect level, the vibe is calm but lively, and everything from the tables to the bathrooms is spotless. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay for hours, whether you’re working, studying, or just enjoying a slow morning.
I ordered the Lychee Butterfly Matcha and the Strawberry Matcha, and both were absolutely incredible. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, the matcha-to-milk ratio was spot on, and they offer different milk options so you can customize it how you like. I went with oat milk, and it was honestly amazing.
They also have pastries, breakfast options, and coffee that looks straight out of a magazine. The staff was so kind and welcoming, genuinely making you feel at home. You can tell they care about what they do, and that energy fills the space.

Coffee – Ethiopia Kilenso Moconissa Natural This single-origin offering is expressive and nuanced, with a fruit-forward profile that feels like summer in a cup. Bright acidity mingles with soft berry notes, leaning into natural-process depth without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of pour that rewards sipping slowly, letting the layers open up.
Food – Pomegranate Toast The Pomegranate Toast is a small work of art—whipped mascarpone yogurt spread luxuriously across a crisp base, then jeweled with crushed pistachios, lemon zest, and a blackberry-pomegranate sauce. The interplay of tangy, nutty, and sweet makes it both indulgent and refreshing, and it pairs effortlessly with the Ethiopia’s fruit-driven clarity.
Atmosphere The café is spotless and thoughtfully arranged, with just the right hum of conversation—a slender volume of crowding that feels lively rather than intrusive. Sunlight and design choices create an easy, summery energy that makes it equally suited for work, reading, or just lingering over another round.
Verdict Local Honey Coffee shines as a seasonal destination. The Ethiopia Kilenso Moconissa and Pomegranate Toast demonstrate the café’s knack for elevating simple pleasures into memorable experiences, while the environment keeps the focus on ease...
