We will never stay at this hotel again!! To give you a clear picture of my husband's and my experience.. picture a place, the only place you could stay that would accept dogs. You put your hard earned money on, really needing to have a comfortable, stress free vacation far away from the city. You were SO excited to get away. You check in, go past a closed pool that your room overlooks (No one even told you the pool was closed when you paid your NON refundable room fee's). The "pool" is almost half full of green, nasty algae water & other scum. There was a man smoking pot right in front and riff raff wandering through the parking lot occasionally. Oh and bullfrog's in the nasty pool every night that croak LOUDLY. All you wanted to do in this incredibly HOT & HUMID HEAT WAVE was cool off every day in the pool. You can't even go tubing because the water is way too low so yeah. REALLY DISAPPOINTED. You check into your room & realize it's filthy. You cannot go barefoot or in socks because your feet & sock's will turn black. You had to throw out one pair already because you realized this too late. You have to get them to change your whole bed to new everything because there are dried blood stains & some unidentifiable brown stuff on them. They advertise a breakfast each morning with egg's, sausage, waffles, cereal & milk breakfast & coffee. You had to wait three hours after you woke up just to have coffee because you didn't have a cup in your room. Then as soon as you get one squirt from the carafe into your cup in the dining area, it is empty & all you have in your cup are watery coffee ground's. You have to ask someone to make some. While waiting, you turn towards the breakfast area hungry & wanting to eat. There is NO sausage, nasty powdered eggs in a warmer where the lid is sitting sideways & half off. The waffles, oh you have to make them yourself BEFORE you've even had any coffee. This place is a complete joke & should honestly be shut down! It is literally falling apart everywhere & filthy. We are simple people. We do however expect a clean, comfy room wherever we stay with stocked room supplies & NO false advertising. It should be EXACTLY as you advertised it. Thanks for ruining our hopes of a nice three day get away Quality Inn of...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give no stars I would. I booked two rooms for two nights at this hotel for my son’s birthday because it had a pool. We arrived just before midnight, Friday. The hotel in the photos was not the hotel we arrived at. Double checked and sure enough, we were at the right place. We checked in at the office that is separate from the hotel. Walked across the parking lot and as soon as you hit the stairs you get an idea of what kind of place it is. A liquor store is directly next door so intoxicated people are loitering all hours of the day and night. Got to our rooms and were even more horrified. My parent’s room was filthy, had no ac, and smelled of mothballs. The clerk was kind enough to switch their room. It too was dirty, no toilet paper, sink was broken, and toilet had to be plunged after each use. My room had what looked like lube caked on it from someone’s hand. Toilet hadn’t been cleaned nor the sink or shower. Mold was everywhere. Floors were FILTHY and I’m almost positive there were bloodstains on the comforters. We had to stay because there was no where else at the time. I had to try to clean it all before I would let my children lie down. Woke up to toilet water in the floor and roaches crawling. Asked for assistance and was shown two additional rooms that were just as bad. It’s out of the clerks hands so it was pointless to make her feel bad about it, but she did mention speaking with the owner on our behalf. Again, nowhere else to go and hours from home. Asked for housekeeping to clean the rooms and it never happened. The icing on the cake, the pool was closed and I had to spend hundreds to keep our party entertained because swimming and slot car racing were the two things my son asked to do on his birthday vacation. I paid $879 to stay two nights here and I’ve never been more disgusted in my life. The owner never called to rectify the situation. This location ruined the Quality Inn brand as a...
Read moreStart by saying that this is not my first time staying in this hotel. I haven't had a terrible experience before. This trip we decided to see what the 1 king and 2 queens looked like. We just could not imagine. We were greatest by a lovely gentleman at the front desk when we checked in. When we got to our room, the door was partly open and noticed there was something wrong with the locked. The door did lock, bit getting it open and closed was another story. I immediately brought this to the front desk attention and was told the maintenance guy would be over to fix the door. After walking around town, the door had no new improvements. Since it was getting later we decided to go ahead and put our stuff in the room. At least the door did shut if you slammed it and opened if you tried really hard. The room was big it used to be the conference room. King on one side, 2 queens on the other. Tape over part of the window since the curtain did not fully cover it. The bathroom, god awful. Super super small. A shower maybe 3x3 and the vanity area even smaller. No dress or anything to put bags on. So had to use the ironing board that looked nasty. There is a locked room with storage for hotel furniture. Ironic since this room could use a little bit more. The queen beds had a Barbie arm still under it and part of the bed was broken.
The hotel is in a great area. Perfect walking distance to everything. I have stayed here several times before and the smaller rooms seemed almost better than this one. At least the bathrooms were nicer and you actually had a vanity area you...
