My husband and a couple of our friends went and it was so much fun! They played super fun music and we had a blast. They make sure you are safe and teach you how to use it properly. There are spots to sit at each lane and a spot to buy drinks and snacks. They allow you to bring 4 alcohol drinks per person. The price is very fair for everything you get.
It is well lit and the style of the building is very fitting so it is very comfortable to enjoy. They take care of the lanes, clean up the debris after each group, and replace board strips that are very damaged to make sure it stays safe andfair for the next group. Their bathrooms are large and kept very clean.
If you get a bullseye you can ring a bell to announce your success. They also have score cards so you can make a game out of it. At the end of your reserved time, they bring over a container with paper coupons folded up so you pull one out per person blind and can get on of various things like $5 off next reserved time, $10 off a hoodie, $5 off a t-shirt etc. When you first walk in, at the check in area, they have items and souvenirs you can buy such as the t-shirts and hoodies you get the coupons for.
We had tons of fun going twice now and definitely plan on going back...
Read moreMy visit to Stumpy’s was on a whim…. Definitely not planned… so no reservation. When we arrived, we were the only patrons there. The attendants were very attentive and encouraging to us first-timers all at the same time. It was my first time throwing Hatchets. My husband had experience throwing stars and found it to be very similar.
Being new to this type of activity, we did get a quit ‘how-to’ lesson prior to being cut loose to throw. I had a bit of a hard time ‘catching on’ but still hit the bullzeye a good number of times before our hour time-slot expired. We found our joint booth spacious, as were the other booths at this location. The entire facility was well thought-out for maximum occupancy while keeping patrons completely safe.
While there were other other games available to play (cornhole, jenga, etc) we didn’t stay long enough to play them. We DID have a great time and will definitely be back to perfect our skills!
Another plus: you are allowed to bring your own food and beverages, alcohol included! They do have a limited choice of sodas & water for...
Read moreThis is for the Lancaster location! We had a great time! The facility was large enough to accommodate many groups, and multiple lanes grouped for parties. There were also comfortable areas to hang out and activities to do when not throwing. My only criticism was it was a little pricy, and there was not a group discount that I noticed. I also thought it was a little silly to have non-throwers pay, even if it’s only $15. I have been to other hatchet throwing places and they didn’t charge for non throwers, and even to throw it was cheaper. Also there were only 2 bathrooms. For such a large place there should be more bathrooms. Overall everything was clean and a nice atmosphere, I especially appreciated how open it was because it seems more Covid friendly. I’d go again if I have a larger group, but for the price I would try to go somewhere cheaper if I didn’t need such a...
