I've been to stores across most of the United States and I've got to say that this is by far one of my favorite shops ever. Is stocked with books and inventory for so many different paths that people follow. I take my son and my grandson often. The staff I've encountered are always helpful, non-judgmental, great with my grandson, and lovely. It's a great place to find a plethora of information and to stock up on essentials. It's really easy to get lost here and spend an hour or more. Love this place.
I really like this store. Occasionally, I like to start in Portland and work my way all over the place hitting all the metaphysical stores.
I was curious as to see why the shop got a 4.9. I saw a couple of three star reviews. Firstly, I'm not affiliated with the store and I don't know the owners. They are always very accommodated and kind to my toddler grandson, And he can be rambunctious.
I want to remark on one three star review about a toddler not being able to use the bathroom, because I had the same experience.
My view: I believe that a store should be reviewed on their merits, merchandise, and customer service (within reason, some customers are jerks), not the fact that someone couldn't use the bathroom.
I'm pretty sure they live there and would you want strangers using your bathroom? I wouldn't want strangers looking through my medicine cabinet and impersonal belongings. An adult takes a toddler into the bathroom.
I had the same experience there. My grandson is a toddler and he needed to use the bathroom and the owner apologized, but refuse to let us use the bathroom. That-being-said, I'm responsible for the toddler not the store owner. I've raised two kids and I'm helping to raise a grandchild, I know that potty training can go south real fast and it's is my responsibility to be prepared for emergencies. My grandson has a port-a-potty in the SUV and a portable urinal-elephant. When we are refused access to bathroom we go out to the car and take care of it where he can't be seen, disposing of it later. Because it's my responsibility. The shop does not deserve a 3 star review, because somebody could not use their bathroom... Just my opinion.
I love this store. It's...
Read moreShopped here a couple of times and found a few things I could use for some of my work in the kitchen. I had to update my review because they have upt their herb game! I was so pleasantly surprised to find so many different varieties.. though some still not labeled organic, I do appreciate them very much for listening! Not many people will go out of their way for their customers.. which really shows me that they are in this business not to just make money, but also to be of service to their community 🙂 Reading some of the people's reviews about not having a public restroom or not feeling comfortable should have been reported as non useful for a review and deleted, because they are not there for your toilet needs.. and if you feel uncomfortable in a occult store, then maybe you shouldn't be in one? Writing a bad review based on your beliefs and your bathroom issues is just completely ridiculous! With that out of the way, this shop is a 5 star establishment. I am glad they are here! Good prices, good energy and you can tell they really care about their space and customers.. even the...

I have spent a great deal of time riding the MAX and have traveled past this mysterious place many times, for the past year. I finally remembered to bring the wife out to peruse a few weeks ago.
The folks who own and operate this place have put together an intriguing balance of eclectic, humorous, and mysterious.
Now, I am not into what some would characterize as the occult, but I do love the complex sensation of arriving at this place and expecting a disillusionment. One expects "this place just sells sexy costumes" just to find that they have never been to a place that embraces this alternative philosophy and "damn if they aren't legit."...
