Vivid Ink Tattoo — Attraction in Honesdale

I felt like I wasn't listened to when I expressed my concerns on both tattoos I got from her.(first ever) I really tried to give Melon a chance with her work online, good reviews women artist, went back for my 2nd tattoo but expressed my concerns to her (moving tattoo an inch) dismissed again said it looked good tried to give her benefit of doubt bc shes the professional still went forward with tattoo went back to get some touch ups bc i wasnt completely happy with it and again got dismissed with my concerns and felt rushed on top of it too (apt was at 12 and at 130 she told me she had another apt at 3) and eventually I just gave up trying to get what I wanted and left with a tattoo im not happy with and to charge me again too was just poor taste but I paid and thanked her and even apologized for being difficult with my nit picking but what else was I supposed to do the damage was already done I feel completely traumatized from getting tattoos ever again I know I can't move the line that I hate but I have to atleast say something so you know how upset I am with the experience and that I will not be coming back or recommending you to anyone

My reply to your response: I felt my review was more than fair and I paid and tipped bc of how much time I was actually there I did not think it would remotely take that long but I recognized that so that's basically why I did pay but was also confused this is from a tattoo you JUST did on me and I expressed right away about about lacking on design details and touch-ups and you didn't take a deposit from me when I made the follow up apt I wasn't gonna make a scene in the shop about it guess you would of preferred that but frankly I only went back to have you touch up bc I didn't think you would've charged me for it bc I was already frustrated with you but thought you wanted me to be happy with my tattoo. I did express myself about how it looked and you said you got it and after 2 hours to add a couple details and in the end fall short I was done. I live most of the time in FL. Have my father’s house/estate in Honesdale. I came up for a couple weeks. I had changed out my lower helix to a hoop too soon. As I knew better than to do, before coming up. The irritation led to a ton of swelling and resulted in an imbedded post I had to get out. I got that post out and didn’t want to loose two piercings. One was my favorite.

I went to town and saw Kyle. Explained what had happened. I wasn’t sure if he could help me. I didn’t want to loose my piercings, especially my hidden rook. He was awesome and able to help me save my piercings. I purchased the stud from their selection (Junipurr). Kyle was able to taper and place it where the hoop was in the lower Helix. He was also able to taper and put new post on the hidden Rook. Very pleasant and a ton of help. They had a decent selection of jewelry. Very pleased with Kyle and the shop. I learned about this shop through a good friend. I was a little gun shy of straying, but I am so glad I stopped in vivid Ink and talked to Kayla. I told her what I wanted and set the appt. Of course work delayed me a bit for my appt. She was understanding. So she did my piece which I could not be happier with. But then we got talking about my sleeve ,which my orange fell out a bit, Kayla went above and beyond and put the orange back in it!!!!! That same day!!! That is awesome!!! And her pricing is very reasonable and her work is awesome. I will definitely be going back for some more work. Vivid Ink is a beautiful shop and very very clean .
