HORRIBLE SERVICE. I’m not sure how this place is so highly rated it’s so obvious that may be most of these reviews are fake. So let me just start off by saying that this was one of the worst massages that I’ve ever had. To start off with they were annoyed that I had gotten a Groupon even though I have let them know before I came that I had a Groupon and that’s how I found them because I like to try out small businesses. So they start off my massage and immediately have an attitude and we’re demanding that I try to pay them in the store again. The masseuse that was massaging me did not know any English at all, and was barely using any pressure. It just felt like she was rubbing oil on me. Then during the massage, another lady comes and leaving the door open and mind you I’m fully naked at this point. And they just sit there and chitchat for about seven minutes until I finally look up and she says oh sorry and then continues to not leave and meanwhile I’m fully just just getting oil rubbed on me. And then the masseuse sneezes on me doesn’t even apologize doesn’t even wipe it off. Just continues to massage it into me. And I continue to ask for more pressure at which point she pulls out Google translate about four separate times during the massage to translate the phrase, more pressure. And then at the end they expected me to tip which usually I took my massage places, but I just felt like the service was so bad I didn’t feel like tipping. They physically prevented me from leaving and demanded that I tip them. And just kept asking. Where is her tip? Where is her tip and then called the manager because I said that I don’t have any cash on me. And refused to validate my parking because I didn’t wanna leave a tip after they treated me so badly. And they were shaking their heads and rolling their eyes at me when I said that I didn’t have a card or cash to tip because I mean at that point I just didn’t want to leave a tip and it was obvious that they weren’t gonna leave...
Read moreThe room I wants in was freezing, which doesn't lend itself to being unclothed. 2. The girl doing my massage weighed less than a mosquito. So I could hardly feel her hands on me. 3. A lot of the massage was over a sheet. Which was weird since I'm used to hands and oil. 4. I ordered a hot stone massage and they could barely use the stones because they were, get this, "too hot". So they had to put them on a towel and then on my body which means I barely felt them but thank goodness they warmed me up a bit in the meat locker we were in 5. The girl couldn't speak a word of English so asking for her to do more of this and less of that was impossible.. 6. She spent 30 minutes working on my calves which I could care less about. 7. She quoted me 70, I stayed five minutes longer to have her hit my back again, she said, 20 dolla maw. I said, whatever. (she understood money) So I'm thinking 90 bucks. Then on way out she asks me for cash. I had credit cards but I always carry an emergency 20 buried in my wallet for emergency. So I gave her this, and my balance should have been 70. I get to the reception and she's showing me 100. I said, no frickin' way. I owe you 70, somehow we settled on 80 after a negotiation that felt like negotiating the Kyoto Agreement. No, no, no! I'm considering disputing this charge on my card. Word to the wise. If you are going to get a massage, find a nice hotel and pay the money. Additionally, this lady straddled my back and dry humped me a bit, which I also found very odd. Also the mosquito lady who massaged me was either 20 or 70. I legit...
Read moreI bought a Groupon for this place as a gift for my husband for Father’s Day, it had good reviews so I was excited for him to use it. When he arrived, they told him they wouldn’t accept it because “Groupon is closed”. They said the massage would be free if they honored it and said “cancel your Groupon and pay me instead”. He tried to reason with them that it was gifted to him, he didn’t buy it. But they had no consideration. I called and all they said was Groupon was closed for them and “go to another spa” I just don’t get it, why put yourself out there if you’re not going to accept Groupon? And please have some consideration, it was a gift for goodness sake. He was humiliated, upset, and totally wasted his time.. I spoke on the phone and via text with them prior to booking this, they should have said something. Anyway, just a warning to all- don’t buy their Groupon. I just checked and it’s still posted up!...
