I really never leave bad reviews, I'm not that type of person. But the haircut I got here was so bad that it has lasting effects. And I'm not an unreasonable guy, I know that this was just one stylist and that yeah mistakes happen and not ever cut will be perfect. But the amount of mistakes my hair got, things I have to live with, and just the way someone could do that to my head and be oblivious to how bad it was is unheard of. I came here with confidence that I'd be taken care of but I could have cut my own hair, given myself a fade, it have been a shoddy job, and STILL look better than what I got because at least I have a general sense of what looks good. I asked for a simple undercut fade (something I had no problem getting from other similar establishments) with it connected on the left side and disconnected on the right side, then a trim on the top of my head to a specific amount that I showed the stylist. 1st off: she didn't give me a fade she just shaved the sides of my head (unevenly might I add so its been growing in similarly unevenly). 2nd: she insisted I get the left side disconnected and started doing it without me giving a full answer, and then she shaved WAY too high up on my head, clearly past where anyone would have cut. 3rd: My trim was very uneven, the left side of my hair was much longer than the right, and the back was just all over the place. So not only did it initially look terrible, it's been growing in bad because it was shaved too high up and cut/shaved unevenly. I don't understand how someone, a professional no less, saw what I saw and thought their job was done. But I still payed, walked out with semi confidence that she knew what she was doing and that it just looked bad right and it'd be fine once I showered and put product in and such. I noticed other people going in that day having not too great looking cuts but I figured "hey I just need a fade and a trim, they can't mess that up". But what should have tipped me off was half of the customers walking in asked for a specific stylist and when they were told she wasn't there they left, not confident in the other stylists skills. So yeah rant over. Not only a terrible haircut (which I've gotten before but it evened itself out quick enough because at least it was trimmed/shaved evenly and properly) but a terrible haircut with long...
Read moreWe booked online as we normally do when we do use great clips because we usually don’t because of poor quality of service and we normally use the great clips next to Winco, any how I got on my app and RESERVED a spot well before close ALL of the great clip locations I clicked said the wait time but also said unable to reserve due to being booked EXCEPT this one on Utah so we RESERVED a spot and drove clear across town to get our son his haircut they refused us and told us the reservation before us was their last, if that was the case I wouldn’t have been able to reserve like the others but that wasn’t the only issue the girl was completely unprofessional and ignorant rolled her eyes when we walked in I told her we checked in online she asked my name rudely I gave it to her and that’s when she proceeded to tell us they were done 30 minutes before close I normally don’t leave poor reviews but this is completely unacceptable to me it’s poor for business lesson learned won’t ever even...
Read moreI primarily use Great Clips because we are fulltime travelers and it is a budget friendly option that has locations nationwide. They store the information about your previous haircuts in their database so the next stylist, no matter where you are, knows what your preferences are, which is nice. As for quality and customer service, I have found that can vary greatly from one store to the next and even from one stylist to another at the same location. I don't know how to get around this aspect when choosing a chain stylist. It's really just a gamble overall. And honestly, at the end of the day, it's just a haircut and hair tends to grow back! Lol but I've never experienced a cut from Great Clips that was SO bad that I was too embarrassed to live with. And for the most part, with very few exceptions, the stylist have all been very friendly and...
