Two visits, both excellent and consistent.
First visit was a standard steak visit. Both ordered salad, French onion soup and ribeye steaks. The salad was superb, icy cold with delicious dressing. The French onion soup was a delight. Hot and crusty on top, cheesy and gooey and oniony and rich.
Steaks could not have been cooked more perfectly, cut more excellently, or served more appetizingly.
All the employees who attended our table were well-trained, pleasant, and friendly without being pushy or interruptive or annoying.
Our second visit was less traditional. One of us ordered French onion soup and a baked sweet potato. That was all, but she was treated as though she had ordered a full meal with all the complimentary sides and dishes.
I ordered French onion soup and chicken strips with french fries. We did order the onion petals for an appetizer. They were delicious, but completely unnecessary.
Again, the French soup was superb and as described above. The baked sweet potato was perfection, fluffy and tasty and sans cinnamon as ordered.
I don't know how to describe the chicken tenders except they came down from heaven. The chicken itself was toothsome and soft yet completely flavorful with an unbelievably tasty breading that clung to the chicken yet gave away in the mouth. The honey mustard dipping sauce was a revelation. It tasted neither of honey nor mustard but was some kind of creamy and balanced marriage of the two. Dipping the tenders in that sauce never became boring. All the way through to the last tender.
We ended our little meal with cheesecake. We ordered strawberry cheesecake. It was served on a chilled plate with chilled spoons. The strawberries were served cut but not macerated or sauced. There was simply cut and left in their natural state. This was a delight as we are not fond of sauced and sugary strawberries. They could simply be enjoyed on their own in their natural state or as an accompanying bite with the cheesecake. The cheesecake could be enjoyed on its own or accompanied with a fresh strawberry. Cheesecake was perfection.
Chandler was the primary server and he was very helpful very kind, very clean and very attentive. His accompanying staff of food runners and table clearers were also attentive, helpful and Johnny-on-the-spot.
This is a fun and relaxed yet somehow upscale restaurant. If you're driving around and just want to go someplace nice on a whim, give this place a go. You will...

The waitress was very attentive and did her job well, but some of their practices were not great, and i wasn’t going to call them out, but after i see they went ahead and ran my card for more then i agreed to… well then guess i will. First, as i said the food was alright, i had the rib eye and my friend had the ribs. Rib eye was really kinda lacking in flavor, the juice made it better, but definitely better steaks in town. The ribs were tender, but the sauce had no depth, the only note was sweet, almost overly so, shame because otherwise the ribs were pretty good. We both got the mac and cheese, which we weren’t asked or told there would be a $3 up charge for. We were however told about the up charge for their strawberry salad, which my friend got, and was the star of the meal. Definitely worth the $3 up charge for that, but skip the mac and cheese, it wasn’t great.
Now to the bad, on top of the not being asked or informed about the up charge for choice for side, which i get it that happens. The “recommended” tips are around twice what math says it is. Bill was around $48 and they had listed almost $10 as “15%”. Although not alone in this practice, i still find it kind of a dirt bag move when restaurants try and slip that past, especially when they tote It as trying to help you. Now we come to why it’s 1 star. I take a look at my bank account today and see the check posted to my account, and I noticed something quite odd, it wasn’t for the right amount. i might not have noticed had it not ended in .10 when i always write it for an even amount, so that way i know it was a tipped meal, and makes keeping track of eating out easier when i look back to budget. I checked my copy of the receipt to he sure, since i actually filled out the wrong one first and sure enough, it was for more. If it wasn’t for such an obscure amount i would assume it was just fat fingered, but i have to assume maybe i was charged yet another undisclosed up charge… Who knows, but i know i won’t be returning if this is how they...
Read moreOne of the best steakhouses in town! My entire family loves this place! My husband and 2 teenage boys always get some kind of steak entre, my boys usually get one with shrimp. Steak is always cooked and seasoned to perfection, shrimp has always been moist and delicious. My younger kids usually get the chicken strip kids meals which come with 4-5 generously sized strips. They love the honey mustard dipping sauce that comes with it, even though my daughter doesn't normally like mustard at all. Prices are what I'd expect for a steakhouse, though I've heard some people say they thought it was expensive. Most meals come with quite a bit of food (particularly the steak entrees) and will satisfy a large appetite, which is a tricky business with teenage boys who are bottomless pits! 😄 The service everyone we've gone has been top notch. Attentive staff and servers who help make the experience even better.
Only drawback for me personally is that the gluten free options are VERY limited, they always bring a few loafs of fresh bread with honey butter to the table before your meal. This is great for everyone else, but not ideal for me due to a wheat allergy. It's been hit and miss for me having a reaction to some kind of cross contamination. It's hard to say if it was people I our party getting too crazy with the bread, or if it was the handling and prep of the food I actually ate. But if you don't have to worry about a wheat allergy or celiac, definitely worth trying out! The staff do try their best not to cross contaminate and my most recent experience their was great with...
