My husband and I are very delighted with our experience at Indy Selection. The owner, Sukhi, made my experience, a pleasant, personable, and I learned a lot! The staff were very kind and helpful which made a positive customer service experience.

I needed a sari for our upcoming trip to India. We needed it within three days! Upon arrival, I was shown different beautiful fabric and style options. There is such a wide variety of colors, designs, and fabrics available to choose from! I was provided with explanations of the type of fabric, and recommendations. Sukhi took all of my measurements and asked me what my preferences were such as sleeve length, back/chest size, and I have the option of zipper or a hook and eye closure. There was also the option of having a traditional sari, or, one that is considered to be ready-made with the petticoat pleated and stitched with hook and eye closure option for securing the skirt. Since this was my first time, wearing a sari, I opted to have the ready made one.

The sari was completed within three days. I went to pick it up and had a final fitting. Sukhi gave me instruction on how to drape and put the sari on, as well as recommendations on securing the sari with pins or, preferably a brooch. It was absolutely beautiful! The color, the fit was amazing! I also was provided with beautiful, high quality jewelry options that would complement the sari.

I wore my sari when we went to the Taj Mahal in Agra, India. The sari is very elegant. The colors are rich and vibrant, and the fabric felt very comfortable in the warm temperatures for that region. I’m normally very picky when it comes to Punjabi attire. Sometimes the prices are not reasonable, sometimes the quality of the suits are not good or there isn’t a vast selections to chose from. BUT when I went to this shop, I was able to find everything I needed, from stitched to unstitched suits with premium quality dresses from boutiques in Bombay and Pakistan, customized for everyone’s needs. Not only that, the owner was so friendly and knowledgeable. Her expertise in this field is mind blowing. I told her what I needed and she delivered. SHE UNDERSTOOD MY STYLE and most of all, she was patient. I was in a tough situation prior to my engagement. The lengha that I got from India did not fit me. The blouse was way too short. I’ve checked every Indian clothing store in the Indianapolis area, and they weren’t able to find a solution. But Sukhi Di was able to remake the entire blouse with flattering variation to match my lengha within 2 weeks.
