Countdown Louisville — Attraction in Jeffersontown

Me and my family did the Ransom room utilizing a Groupon and had the best time! The person hosting our game was very cool and helped us when needed along the way since this was all of our first time doing it! It was challenging but not impossible to figure out! We would definitely do this again!

The customer service was great - we had a family member who could not make it and were able to have another family member take their place with no problems. Our Groupon was for 8 people, but we had an additional family member who wanted to participate. I called Countdown Louisville the day of our game and they were very accommodating about adding the additional person and offered a discounted rate for them (not the same rate as the Groupon) which was nice! (We ended up not having an additional person, but at least we could add more folks if needed!) We were also celebrating one of our family member’s birthday and Countdown Louisville were cool about hiding a birthday card within the game for it to be discovered by the family member while playing which I thought thought was pretty cool, too!

My only SUGGESTION for Countdown Louisville is to have additional signage near the parking lot area so folks will know where to go! Our game was at night and we were not familiar with the area so we were driving around the building trying to figure out where it was! Since a few of us got there early enough, we kept walking back to the parking lot to flag down any family members driving around...

Went here to celebrate my birthday with my game night friends and we had a blast!!! We ended up setting the record for one of their rooms even! Everything flowed nicely, but I definitely wouldn't say it was too easy by any means. I just had super smart friends that each had their own talents that helped us win!

With the leftover time we had from solving the room we were talking with the super nice owner and he gave us some neat info regarding how different age groups and different occupation groups usually have done on his rooms. It was super cool to learn some of his interesting facts and feedback!

I've been to other escape rooms before, but I have to say this was by far the best because it was the most personal one due to the owner who gives great feedback! It gave us homey vibes where we felt more like friends than just transactional customers.

I'll definitely be back to try another room! I'm sure they are...
