My Gym Jersey City — Attraction in Jersey City

My son was a member at my gym for close to 3 years we initially really enjoyed the classes and had built excellent relationships with his teachers especially miss Valentina and Mr Troy. We paid our reoccurring tuition every month without a single problem, our family went through a bit of a tragic situation leaving our house with 1 income and we were unable to attend for about 3 months but continuing to pay....when we were able to start to rebuild our life we reached out to them to extend the courtesy of refunding our last months tuition because we were only 7 days short from the cancellation date. It’s the holiday season with 2 small kids we’re trying to provide for and keep life normal for we were told “no the contract says”. We did sign a contract and were aware of the terms but being loyal customers and our situation we thought that the owner would have extended some kind of courtesy and understanding we willingly for fitted our months worth of makeup classes and still the owner was unwilling to work with us. We do not believe this is the values and morals my gym represents and the owner of this particular franchise location is more about making an extra $100 then keeping moral with customers, we will No longer be referring to this particular location or the other my gym franchises they own in the area and we will definitely not be returning to this franchise location when we decide to...

Worst birthday party experience ever!! One of their staff named Ray Rahim is an absolute obnoxious guy who was cursing in front of kids during the birthday party. He treated guests including me as a client with foul language over a balloon incident with a kid and parent. He also happens to be the karate instructor and according to me has no training on how to behave in front of kids. He is completely unfit and probably dangerous to be around kids given his behavior that we all had to witness at the birthday party. I wish I had a video of his behavior that includes cursing in front of the kids. The video would have gone viral by now. Unfortunately, his indecent behavior has bought disgrace to this place; which should be a kid friendly place.

I recommend to not have any kids around Ray Rahim or have birthday parties if he is involved. Stay away from him if you care about the safety of your kids. I have also filed a complaint with City of Jersey City so that they can examine this incident with the video feed and do the needful to prevent incidents like these...

My kid loves My Gym, he smiles as soon as we walk in. And honestly, I love it too. It’s such a nice break for me. I don’t have to think about how to keep him busy and safe for an hour. Everything is soft, and the coaches are always keeping an eye on the kids. I like that the songs and activities change every week, so it doesn’t get boring. With how hot this summer is, I’m so glad to have an indoor space where my child can run and play. It’s clean too, so I don’t worry about him getting sick. The staff is amazing. They clearly love what they do or at least, they really know what they’re doing. They remember the kids’ names, always smile, and even say hi when we run into them outside the gym. (I really hope the staff is paid well, they absolutely deserve it.) The other parents and nannies are kind too, sometimes they play with my kid. The whole vibe is super positive. I always feel better after class. I love that the gym encourages kids to try new things. And the price is very fair, especially since we can go every day. Glad...
