Wow, what an amazing experience! We'd had not planned on doing an escape room the day that I ended up going, but the location caught our eye and the hosts graciously invited us over to share some details and history. It was fascinating to hear the story of the attraction, and even the outdoor set design was compelling - I appreciated the amount of local talent and art employed in the production.
We ended up waiting only a short while another group finished, and when they exited, we were given a great, spoiler-free review. The first section was a fun intro video with impressive production value for a new startup attraction, and then we got straight to the puzzles. Everything was laid out very cleanly, with plenty of room to move the plentiful props around, and the puzzle designs were very creative and varied.
There were quite a few logic puzzles and locks, as expected for an escape room, but also several tactile examples. Plenty of the puzzles interlinked, keeping some solutions relevant throughout, which is always a positive aspect to any escape room. To avoid revealing too much, I won't go into any more detail, but suffice to say, there were absolutely zero disappointments on our part upon finishing the room.
Thanks again to the hosts, and I look forward to visiting again, the next time I am...

Having visited 4 different escape room companies multiple times in both the Northeast and Southwest I can say Wonderland has been my favorite. Whimsical and vibrant the passion put into this project is evident. The creativity and design of the puzzles and quality of the props/artwork/decoration rival escape rooms more than twice the price in New York City.
Knowledge of Alice in Wonderland lore is not required to solve anything, but those who do are rewarded with many details and references that honor the original drawings by Sir John Tenniel along with the modern film.
Since they are a smaller operation they are able to give clues in-person which makes the hints much more direct and personal.
If you enjoy escape rooms and find yourself in the general area this is a must. If you’ve never tried one before Wonderland is a great opportunity to do a family friendly or date activity that tests your communication and teamwork.
